The festive musical, Christmas on the Square will tell the tale of Regina Fuller - played by Christine Baranski - a "wealthy and unpleasant woman" who returns home to a small town, following her father’s death, to evict everyone right before Christmas, reports Variety.

A modern-day Scrooge, if you will.

Anyway, Regina comes across an angel - played by Dolly - and could be persuaded to have a change of heart, after an old romance resurfaces and she hears from and gets to know the locals.

The movie will feature fourteen original songs written and performed by Dolly...
