Never one to keep a single thought he has to himself, Donald Trump has piped up once more with his predictions about the end of days…
He was interviewed on Newsmax and offered his perspective on the future.
“Our country has gone really downhill in the last eight months like nobody’s ever seen before,” he began – without offering any evidence for these claims.
But then he made his truly odd claim.
“You go to these elections coming up in ’22 and ’24 — we’re not going to have a country left,” Trump opined.
Which makes it all the more confusing that he’s planning on running for office in these elections!
The interview also had some classic claims about the 2020 election…
“The election was rigged, and we’re not going to have a country left in three years, I’ll tell you that.”
This was when former White House press secretary Sean Spicer had to end the interview, as Newsmax is currently facing a 1.6 billion dollar lawsuit for “deliberately lying about widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election and defaming the voting machine company.”
Nonetheless, the clip quickly went viral.
“How do you campaign, and ask people to come out and vote, at the same time that you tell them that as president you couldn’t protect their vote and had the election stolen from you?” one Twitter user replied.
“Why bother running if there won’t be an America by then?” a second agreed.
Another made this point. “He might have a point. If he was re-elected in 2024, it would indeed be the end of ‘America’. It would become just another authoritarian regime.”
“Could Trump be predicting that if he runs & wins the US will become a Fascist Dictatorship? There is nothing more horrible, terrifying, or dire than that idea. Not just for the US but for the world,” another added.
