Donald Trump has just addressed the subject of white supremacy during his Miami town-hall forum this evening...
Donald Trump's Miami town-hall forum happened tonight...And the President's response to Savannah Guthrie's questions about white supremacy have certainly raised some eyebrows. Keep on reading to see what our President had to say...
Now, this particular stage of the election run-up has been surrounded in a lot of controversy these last few weeks.
via: GettyFollowing President Trump's coronavirus diagnosis, the whole debate process has been completely thrown up into the air.
Tonight's event was originally scheduled for October 9th...
via: GettyBut was hastily canceled over coronavirus fears.
Subsequently, today's date, October 15th, was selected for the second debate...
via: GettyBut it was established almost instantly that the debate was going to be a virtual one, with both candidates taking part in separate locations due to COVID fears.
However, President Trump wasn't too keen on this idea...
And he demanded that the debate be restored to its original, in-person format, before adding that he would refuse to take part in any virtual debate entirely... even though he was yet to provide a negative COVID test.

Meanwhile, the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, was putting together his own plan to appear in an ABC News town hall in Philadelphia...

But, never one to miss out on an opportunity to attack his opponent, Trump decided to take part in NBC's Miami town hall event...

Understandably, this caused quite a lot of anger...
And NBC has been criticized for agreeing to go ahead with Trump's forum which will force viewers to choose either one or the other to watch, rather than getting an equal share of both candidates.

So, tonight, we were treated to 2 separate town hall events...Just on different channels from different parts of the country, with undecided voters watching in the audience. Yep, I told you things had strayed slightly from the norm.
Trump's NBC forum kicked off in Miami with Savannah Guthrie earlier this evening...And it didn't take long at all for things to get heated.
Guthrie boldly pushed Trump on his retweets of conspiracy theories this week...And this seemed to cause the President to snap, in which he sarcastically remarked to her as, "So cute."
People were not happy with this condescending and degrading comment...
And so soon into the event!

She then asked the President on the subject of white supremacy. We all know that Trump came under fire in the last debate after he failed to denounce white supremacists and the Proud Boys so, of course, it was going to be brought up tonight.
Immediately, Trump was on the defense."I denounced white supremacy for years," Trump claimed, before complaining that Guthrie and other people in the media keep bringing up the topic.
Viewers weren't convinced of Trump's authenticity, however...And as this Twitter user pointed out, getting him to say that was difficult.

Many of Trump's supporters were quick to defend him and they claimed he has always denounced white supremacy.
