But one of the biggest stories came after a male journalist suggested she drops the Dr from her title.

As the motions begin for 4 years of a Joe Biden presidency, Jill Biden has had to deal with her fair share of insulting remarks. And people are loving how she's dealing with them...

After Biden's win, she quickly followed with her words of congratulations.

Sharing a photo of the pair in their Delaware home, she wrote: "He will be a president for all of our families."

Many people have been gushing over the "normality" of their photo...

And noting how refreshing it is to have an "actual American family" win the presidency.

The Bidens are undeniably very different to the Trumps...

And, in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning back in August, the future first lady detailed just how different the White House will be under a Biden rule.

Apparently, Dr. Biden has plans to continue teaching.

Biden, who is currently a full-time English professor at Northern Virginia Community College, previously said: "If we get to the White House, I'm gonna continue to teach. It's important, and I want people to value teachers and know their contributions, and lift up the profession."

In 231 years of the role's existence, Dr. Biden would be making history if she were to continue working.

Historian Katherine Jellison, a professor at Ohio University who studies first ladies, told CBS News on Saturday that Dr. Biden would be the only first lady to hold a paid job and first to have a doctorate degree.

In the same interview, Biden outlined her other plans as the first lady.

She'll advocate for free community college tuition, funding for cancer research, and support for military families, as she did in her role as the second lady.

Despite her amazing accomplishments so far, there's one that refuses to acknowledge her hard work...

Conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson has defended the Wall Street Journal writer who said Jill Biden should drop the "Dr." title in her name. And people are loving her response...

On December 11, Joseph Epstein wrote in the Wall Street Journal that, despite her doctorate, she shouldn't label herself as "Dr. Biden."

He advised her that she should "drop the doc" as the title "feels fraudulent."

You can read what the journalist wrote below...

"Madame First Lady—Mrs. Biden—Jill—kiddo: a bit of advice on what may seem like a small but I think is a not unimportant matter. Any chance you might drop the 'Dr.' before your name? "Dr. Jill Biden sounds and feels fraudulent, not to say a touch comic. Your degree is, I believe, an Ed.D., a doctor of education, earned at the University of Delaware through a dissertation with the unpromising title 'Student Retention at the Community College Level: Meeting Students' Needs.'"

He continued...

"A wise man once said that no one should call himself 'Dr.' unless he has delivered a child. Think about it, Dr. Jill, and forthwith drop the doc."

And it doesn't end there... on December 14, Fox News host Tucker Carlson brought up the comment, even admitting he agreed with what was written.

Stating that she's "a doctor of education, which means basically nothing."

He later said...

"Jill Biden is not a doctor, no. Maybe in the same sense, Dr. Pepper is," he added. "In 2007, at the age of fifty-five, she got a doctorate in education, so she's got the same degree as Dr. Bill Cosby." Ouch.

He then said that she must have gotten tired of seeing letters addressed to "Senator and Mrs. Biden."

And if that wasn't enough, he then said that she was trying "to cure [status anxiety] as so many do in our country, with another pointless title."

Dr. Biden took to Twitter to respond...

She wrote: "Together, we will build a world where the accomplishments of our daughters will be celebrated, rather than diminished." We love it!

Many have voiced their support for Dr. Biden, including Michelle Obama.

The former first lady took to Instagram to share how she believes Jill is a role model.

She started by writing, "For 8 years, I saw Dr. Jill Biden do what a lot of professional women do—successfully manage more than one responsibility at a time, from her teaching duties to her official obligations in the White House to her roles as a mother, wife, and friend."

"And right now, we’re all seeing what also happens to so many professional women, whether their titles are Dr., Ms., Mrs., or even First Lady: All too often, our accomplishments are met with skepticism, even derision."

"We’re doubted by those who choose the weakness of ridicule over the strength of respect. And yet somehow, their words can stick—after decades of work, we’re forced to prove ourselves all over again."

"Is this really the example we want to set for the next generation?" she asked.

"Dr. Biden gives us a better example."

"And this is why I feel so strongly that we could not ask for a better First Lady. She will be a terrific role model not just for young girls but for all of us, wearing her accomplishments with grace, good humor, and yes, pride. I’m thrilled that the world will see what I have come to know—a brilliant woman who has distinguished herself in her profession and with the life she lives every day, always seeking to lift others up, rather than tearing them down."

And Kamala Harris has spoken out on the subject, too.

"I was deeply disappointed that in 2020, that kind of approach would be given any legitimacy," she said.

"Let's be clear about it: she worked hard."

via: Shutterstock

"She raised her kids, she went to school, she went to night school, she got degrees, she earned everything she has."

"So, when there's anyone who tries to diminish the significance of people who work hard, I think it's just not the American way, frankly."

Well wait no more.

As some of her students have came forward and revealed everything.

One person said:

She really cares about each and every one of her students. She has a big heart and a passion for education. Thank you so much for being the best teacher EVER Dr. Biden!

Another said:

She is definitely a little tough at times making the class needlessly hard but she's knowledgeable and sweet. Would recommend, but you will have to work a little bit.

In a nutshell.

It appears Dr Biden is a firm teacher whose heart is in the right place.
