Tragic news has reached us that Dream Street member Chris Trousdale has passed away. He was just thirty-four-years-old.

The cause of his death has now been confirmed. Here's the full story...

Chris Trousdale rose to fame as a member of the boy band, Dream Street.

Chris joined the band back in 1999 along with Jesse McCartney, Greg Raposo, Matt Ballinger, and Frankie Galasso.

Chris was one of several members that were scouted from the NYC acting and Broadway scene.

At the time he was brought into the band, he was just fourteen years old.

Dream Street parted ways in 2002 due to legal issues between the boys' parents and management.

Dream Street managed to attract a significant fanbase.

The band also had a handful of hits along the way.

Their biggest single was "It Happens Every Time."

The track peaked at number forty-eight on the charts at the time of its release.

But what did Chris get up to post-Dream Street?

Well, the star managed to carve out a career for himself as a solo artist at Disney.

Chris also appeared on a handful of shows.

After a hiatus from the spotlight in the 2000s, Chris went on to star in the likes of  Days of Our Lives, Shake It Up, and Austin & Ally. 

And who can forget?

Chris also appeared on the smash hit show, Lucifer.

But sadly this week it has been announced that Chris has tragically passed away.

The pop star reportedly passed away on Tuesday night at a hospital in Burbank, CA due to complications from coronavirus according to a family member, as per TMZ.
