The latest season of The Crown has caused quite a stir, and it's resulted in a lot of people viciously attacking the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla.

It was only a matter of time before one of the most controversial periods for the royal family would hit our screens for the show...For the fourth season of The Crown, we finally saw Princess Diana and Prince Charles' courtship played out.
The royal drama is set during Margaret Thatcher’s time as Prime Minister...And sees rising star Emma Corrin step into the role of Lady Diana Spencer.
For many fans, this has been the season they've been waiting for...And predictably, it has stirred up a huge reaction.
Princess Diana and her untimely death are a hugely sensitive topic for many.So The Crown was bound to shake things up - and it did just that - with thousands of viewers taking to social media to slam Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
But matters reached new heights on Friday when the pair's official Instagram account posted a snap...Because the comments were filled with angry trolls hurling abuse at Camilla - something many think is the product of one of the plotlines in The Crown.
Now, the rumors surrounding Charles and Diana's true relationship have been rife for decades.

Andrew Morton, who collaborated with the Princess on the 1992 Diana: Her True Story wrote that “behind the public smiles and the glamorous image was a lonely and unhappy young woman" and that she was seen “as an outsider by the Queen."
