Here's the full story...
Earlier this week, the heartwrenching news came in that actor Dustin Diamond had passed away.
A statement made by his rep confirmed his passing, leaving fans devastated.
Tributes have since been pouring in for the star...

Born in 1977, Diamond was a comedian, director, and actor.
And there's one role he's undeniably best known for...
Saved by the Bell first hit screens in 1989.
The teen comedy, which celebrated its thirtieth birthday last month, was set in the fictional Californian Bayside High and saw us introduced to Zack Morris and his high-schooler group that included A.C. Slater, Jessie Spano, Kelly Kapowski, “Screech" Powers, and Lisa Turtle.
The show was a huge hit...
And chronicled the friends as they navigated all things life-related, from relationships and finals to school dances and breakups, all while, more often than not, managing to ruffle the feathers their principal, Mr. Richard Belding, who does his best to keep the gang in check.
But, after 4 seasons, we waved the friends goodbye.
The show wrapped up in 1993, although it came to a complete end with Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas, a 2-hour movie where it finally happens...Kelly and Zack get hitched.
Unsurprisingly, the show made a return to screens in 2 spinoffs.
imdbAny show with such profound success is bound to rinsed for all it's worth and Saved by the Bell was no exception to this. The first spinoff named Saved By the Bell: The College Years lasted for just 1 season from 1993 to 1994, and then a second, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, which ran from 1993 to 2000.
There were many beloved characters on the show.
But the fan favorite was undeniably Screech.
The goofy sidekick was totally hilarious...
And was played to perfection by Diamond, of course!
But earlier this week, fans of Diamond received some devastating news...
After a recent hospitalisation, the actor had passed away.
A rep for Dustin told TMZ he died on the morning of February 1st.

He was reportedly initially hospitalized in Florida in January after feeling pain all over his body and a general sense of feeling unwell.
Tragically, he was later diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
The actor's death comes just a couple of weeks after completing his first round of chemo after he was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma.
It's the most tragic of situations...
And 4 days on from his death, Diamond's girlfriend has spoken out and revealed some heartbreaking details about his final days.
Diamond's girlfriend, who is known as Tash, spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail about her relationship with the actor.
"He was the love of my life. We planned on a future together and spoke often about having kids. I'm heartbroken," she said.
Tash, a certified pharmacy technician, said she is devastated and her entire world has been turned upside down...
But she said she will cherish the last time he was able to speak to her, which was just one day before he died.
"Even though he was struggling to breathe and had difficulty speaking he was able to get out the words to me, 'I love you,' I told him I loved him back."
Tash then said, "Dustin died at our friend Jules' house in the Fort Meyers, Florida area."
Diamond was still on the gurney in the front room of the house while the hospice worker and their friend Jules were preparing his bedroom when Tash found him not breathing. He was pronounced dead a short time after by emergency personnel.
Tash and their good friend Dan Block had followed the transport vehicle from the hospital to their friends' house. They arrived just minutes after Dustin did, Tash said.
Dan Block, President of Insurance Kings and Dustin's best friend, said what happened the weekend before he died was unexpected.
"By Monday you could tell he was in pain, I think he was suffering, by the way he was breathing."
Rest in Peace, Dustin.
