Dwayne Johnson, Hollywood's nice-guy and proud girl-dad, recently let out his inner-child while celebrating his daughter Jasmine's 5 and a half birthday at Chuck E. Cheese over the weekend.
The Jungle Cruise star attempted to climb into a tiny version of the Disney ride that inspired his upcoming movie with his 3-year-old daughter, Tiana and posted an adorable photo of the moment for his 250+ million followers to swoon over. And swoon they did. "That was so sweet of you to do that for her," one fan wrote while another crowned the star "dad of the year."
"Saturday: 8:30AM. Riding the @chuckeecheese version of 'Daddy's JUNGLE CRUISE,'" Johnson wrote alongside the snap. "We rented out the joint for Jazzy's 5½ (since she never got to have her party during Covid lockdown) so all the kiddos can go completely ape s*** bonkers and have a blast," Johnson continued. Ah, so that explains the half-birthday party!
The wrestler-turned-action-star also noted that he might have even broken the arcade ride during their visit! "We all had an AWESOME time and as you can see here my 270lbs completely dislodged this poor little boat off its happy hydraulic hinges. Sorry, Chuckee, we're gonna need a bigger boat and thanks for the pizza and ice cream for breakfast (I'm sending you some tequila for your troubles)," he joked, referencing his successful tequila brand, Teremana Tequila Reposado.
The actor shares his two youngest daughters, Jasmine and Tiana, with his wife, Lauren Hashian, whom he married in a beautiful private ceremony back in August 2019. He also shares a daughter, nineteen-year-old Simone, with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia.
Speaking to PEOPLE recently, Johnson said that the most important thing he's learned from being a father is to "just be there."
"You can be wired, as a lot of fathers are, to fix things," he said. "Just having an expanded capacity to listen and be more tender and gentle really gave me that ability to solve whatever the issue is, but with them compared to for them."
The star also admitted that, over the last year, during the height of the pandemic, he became even more appreciative of his "blessed" life: "The most important things are right in front of me. I am in constant thank-you mode." And that certainly looks to be the case! Here's to squeezing into tiny rides at Chuck E. Cheese, celebrating half-birthdays, and cherishing small moments with our families.
Jungle Cruise, which sees Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt star as explorers, 'Skipper' Frank Wolff and Dr. Lily Houghton, traveling along the Amazon River to find the Tree of Life, which is believed to possess healing powers that could be of great benefit to modern medicine, will premiere on July 30th in theaters and IMAX. You can also catch it on the same day on Disney+ with Disney+ Premier Access.
