Elliot Page has just shared his first Instagram post since coming out as transgender earlier this month, and it's clear that he's now happier than ever!

Page released a statement on social media announcing that he was coming out as transgender.
via: GettyIn a deeply personal essay, they began: “Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they, and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here."
"To have arrived at this place in my life. I feel overwhelming gratitude for the incredible people who have supported me along this journey."
“I love that I am trans. And I love that I am queer."
He then asked for “patience" as he navigates his identity.
Nick Adams, GLAAD’s Director of Transgender Media, spoke out shortly after Page released his heartfelt statement.
Since their announcement, Page has received an outpour of love and support from not only his fans...
And not only that, in light of his coming out, people have started raising more awareness on the issue.
