Elon Musk Says He’ll Leave Twitter to MrBeast if He ‘Mysteriously Dies’

Elon Musk posted an ominous tweet on social media, suggesting he could be under threat from Russia for helping Ukraine. But, he then said that he is “ok with going to hell” after the suggestion that he could be killed.

And now he’s said that if he “mysteriously dies” he will leave Twitter to YouTuber, MrBeast.

Musk made Starlink systems active in Ukraine after internet access was disrupted in the country. The move came shortly after Russia launched a full-scale invasion on Ukraine.

Now, Elon Musk is the complete embodiment of a classic eccentric billionaire…

Being the founder, CEO, and Chief Engineering Designer of not only Tesla but SpaceX too, he has an awful lot going for him.

As it currently stands, Tesla is the world’s leading electric car company…

With almost 500,000 vehicles being bought and distributed in 2020 alone. The company is pioneering the future of electric car travel with Musk as its CEO.

And then there’s Space X…

Space X became the first private company to successfully launch, orbit, and recover a spacecraft, as well as the first to send a spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS).

And due to his accomplishments, Musk has cashed in a serious amount of money since starting his businesses…

Back in January 2021, according to the BBC, Musk finally became the richest man in the world, knocking Jeff Bezos out of 1st place.

Quite the achievement, I know!

However, the feud between Musk and Bezos had been ongoing all year, with the pair yo-yo-ing between 1st and 2nd place.

Well, until late last year…

  via Getty Images

Musk saw a jump of 4.9 percent for the stock price of Tesla at the start of the year – an increase that came just days after finishing the first trading session of the year where they saw an increase of 3.4 percent.

Musk’s net worth subsequently soared shortly after to a staggering $188 billion, as per Bloomberg’s Billionaires Index.

And with Jeff Bezos’ net worth standing at $187 billion, Elon Musk was ultimately placed as the world’s richest man.

Things just kept getting better for Musk, and as of September 7th, he was reportedly worth over $200 billion…

Making him the 3rd person in the world to ever reach that milestone, behind Jeff Bezos and Bernard Arnault, CEO of French luxury brands Moët, Hennessy, and Louis Vuitton.

A great achievement for Musk!

And of course, he went about the news in the most typical “Elon Musk” way.

In response to the news, he simply tweeted, “How strange”…

  via Getty Images

Before adding: “Well back to work.”

Then, almost a month after beating Bezos and becoming the world’s richest man…

He secured his position in 1st place.

On October 25th, 2021, Musk left his competitors in the dust as he reportedly gained a further $36 million…

Taking him up to a whopping $269 billion according to Forbes.

However, despite being crowned the richest man in the world, it hasn’t all been sunshine and rainbows for the CEO…

In 2021 alone, he split from his long-time girlfriend Grimes, as well as having to pay up for some unpaid taxes due to unrealized gains in Tesla stock. So all in all, it was a choppy year.

Now, Elon really did make the headlines an awful lot last year.

And it was always in celebration of his success.

He started this year off right, too. The $11 billion in taxes he paid have definitely been a thing of the past for him because he almost tripled what he paid in 2021, and it was only the beginning of 2022.

How? You might ask…

  via Getty Images

It’s all down to his Tesla company.

In 2021, Tesla manufactured 936,000 vehicles, allowing for a rise in stock prices, as per LADbible.

And to put his riches into perspective…

By Musk paying $11 billion in taxes last year, he gave 0.0036 percent of his earnings away. Yep, it might make you want to cry yourself to sleep, but that’s the truth.

However, Musk has recently used his wealth for good, after helping Ukraine in the fight against Russia.

Musk donated Starlink satellite internet terminals to help provide faster internet service to Ukraine.

The terminals connect to several satellites that Musk put in low orbit over Ukraine earlier this year.

Ukraine’s vice prime minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, tweeted at the time to Musk, writing: “Starlink – here. Thanks, @elonmusk,” to which Musk replied: “You are most welcome.”

However, the move received concerns from some people including John Scott-Railton, senior researcher at the University of Toronto…

“Re: @elonmusk‘s Starlink donation. Good to see. But remember: if #Putin controls the air above #Ukraine, users’ uplink transmissions become beacons… for airstrikes,” he tweeted.

“#Russia has decades of experience hitting people by targeting their satellite communications,” he added.

Musk is doing what he can to help Ukraine in the fight against Russia amid the invasion.

Even president Zelenskyy has thanked Musk for his efforts. In a tweet posted on March 5, Zelenskyy revealed that he had spoken with Musk.

“I’m grateful to him for supporting Ukraine with words and deeds,” he wrote. “Next week we will receive another batch of Starlink systems for destroyed cities. Discussed possible space projects. But I’ll talk about this after the war.”

But it seems that his efforts also haven’t gone unnoticed in Russia.

And Musk seems to be concerned for his life.

He recently tweeted he could die “under mysterious circumstances,” after a threat was made by the chief of Russia’s space agency.

  via Getty Images

“If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin ya,” Musk tweeted on Sunday.

The former deputy Russian prime minister, Dmitry Rogozin, who now runs the space agency, has accused Musk of being “involved in supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communication equipment.”

He added: “And for this, Elon, you will be held accountable like an adult – no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”

  via Getty Images

In response to the post, Musk wrote that the “word ‘Nazi’ doesn’t mean what he seems to think it does.”

Amid the fire that Musk seems to be surrounded by…

  via Getty Images

He also said that if he goes to ‘hell’… He’s ok with it.

And people had a lot to say about it…

  via Getty Images

“Hearing that makes me believe that u have never had the opportunity to get to know our creator through the way of the bible and that u haven’t found our lord Jesus Christ. Believe me I was never interested, raised Catholic, wild child, but have studied it 4 yrs and it’s amazing,” one person wrote in response to his comment.

Another disagreed with how calm he was about the prospect of hell…

  via Getty Images

“No one can ‘be fine’ going to hell, the Bible says that there is a place of suffering and gnashing of teeth, and that will be for eternity. There are things money can’t buy, Salvation is one of them, think about it and God bless you,” they said.

Another wrote to Musk saying: “This is a very sad statement @elonmusk… I would love the chance to sit down and tell you about my King who has already paid the cost for all of humanity and has defeated death so that we may too. King Jesus.”

  via Getty Images

But, somebody else took Musk’s side: “So a perfect God created a mess only to create hell to punish those who will fall victim to the mess he created when he could have created a perfect world with his unlimited powers. Doesn’t make any sense,” they wrote.

So, what prompted Musk to say he’s perfectly ‘ok’ with going to hell?

  via Getty Images

Well, after he had suggested he’s at risk of being killed, a follower of Musk said: “You won’t die before your day Elon. Anyhow, you are/were a unique figure in this world. I’m only wondering one thing: As a genius, haven’t you find out that there is a great creator of this world yet? If you did, make sure you confess this before your last heart beat. Bless u.”

And Musk’s response was… Well, very Musk.

  via Getty Images

“Thank you for the blessing, but I’m ok with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there,” he stated.

This isn’t it, though.

Since the Tweet sparked over 1 million likes and over 170,000 retweets, people have been taking to the comment section to share their opinions.

And amid the comments was a request that YouTuber MrBeast left…

  via Getty Images

Asking to have Twitter if he dies.

Musk then responded with just 1 word.

MrBeast, who, according to the YouTube service Social Blade, earns roughly 5 million dollars per month, as per Marca, took to the comment section to boldly request that Twitter be his if Musk dies.

  via Getty Images

“If that happens can I have Twitter?” he said, amassing over 400,000 likes for his comment.

Someone else then asked if they can “have a good-paying job,” too.

  via Getty Images

And another joked saying that they have “dibs” on Tesla.

And when Musk responded to the YouTuber saying “Ok”…

  via Getty Images

MrBeast replied: “Jokes aside, be safe! I wuv u.”

What do you think?
