Eminem’s nineteen-year-old child has come out as non-binary in an emotional TikTok video.

The teenager made the announcement on the social media app last week and asked fans to “call me Stevie (they/she/he).”

Eminem adopted Stevie back in 2005 when they were formerly known as Whitney. This came to be after the rapper amended his relationship with Stevie’s mother Kim Scott.

In a video posted on TikTok, the teenager can be heard crying with joy at the start of the video, which shows their journey to non-binary, before a series of photos is played that documents their transformation over several years.

The video begins with pictures of the teen known as Whitney at the time, with “she/ her pronouns” captioned in the video, before moving on to new photos alongside the pronouns “they/ her” later on.

Stevie cut their hair short and sported a nose piercing in the video, which also reveals their name, alongside the caption “all pronouns.”

Stevie wrote: “Watch me become more comfortable with myself” and “forever growing and changing,” and has used the hashtags “#genderfluid #bi and #nonbinary” in several posts.

The post was liked by Stevie’s sister, Hailie Jade, who is Eminem’s biological daughter with Kim.

According to The Sun, the teen’s chosen name was referenced in their grandmother’s obituary last month.

It read: “Kathleen was an exceptional mom to her two daughters; Kim and Dawn; and was overjoyed to become a grandmother to her grandchildren; Alaina, Adam, Hailie, Stevie, P.J., and Parker.”

Back in 2017, Stevie came out as bisexual and requested in their Instagram bio for people to use the pronouns she/ they when talking about them.

The teenager said in a now-deleted post: “‘Happy national coming out day!’ I am bisexual???? I would like to say you’re perfect the way you are and that love is love!?????????? be yourself!”

Kim had Stevie 6 months after her divorce from Eminem in 2001, with tattoo artist Eric Hartter, who sadly died of an overdose. At the time, the rapper was already a father to Hailie.

After reconciling with his ex-wife Kim in 2005, Eminem adopted Stevie, admitting he wanted to provide a stable environment for his child. He also has another adopted daughter Alaina, twenty-eight, whose mother is Kim’s twin sister Dawn. She died of a drug overdose in 2016.

In a Rolling Stones Interview in 2004, Eminem spoke about Kim’s history with substance abuse, and how he has always tried to shield his children from the spotlight…

“You can never let a child feel like it’s her fault for what’s goin’ on,” he said. “You just gotta let her know: ‘Mom has a problem, she’s sick, and it’s not because she doesn’t love you. She loves you, but she’s sick right now, and until she gets better, you’ve got Daddy. And I’m here.'”
