But Vanessa wasn't the only celeb getting themselves in hot water. Another celebrity has ruffled a few feathers with her stance on the coronavirus pandemic.
The actress shared an image of her morning tea to Instagram...
Evidently, she was still going about her day-to-day business with little care about the coronavirus risks.
And, with businesses and schools closing around the world because of the virus outbreak, Lilly’s stance provoked some serious anger among her followers.
People were not happy with the actress...
But, in a post on her Instagram Evangeline, shared that she had been social distancing since March 18th.
She apologized for her "insensitivity" and explained that at the time of her post the directives were to "not congregate in groups of more than 250ppl and that we wash our hands regularly". Which she claims to have been following.
"At the time of my Mar 16th post, the directives from the authorities here were that we not congregate in groups of more than 250ppl and that we wash our hands regularly, which we were doing. "
She follows by apologizing for her insensitivity and to those who have been affected by COVID-19 writing:
In the post, Evangeline also speaks of how she thought she was helping by "infusing calm into the hysteria".
"My direct and special apologies to those most affected by this pandemic. I never meant to hurt you. When I wrote that post 10 days ago, I thought I was infusing calm into the hysteria.
Whilst she continued to write of the struggles families, business and medical workers, she spoke of the fears she had.
