The coronavirus outbreak has taken the world by a storm.
People all around the world are in mass panic and as the death rate rises and the importance of washing hands is now being stressed more than ever before. But regardless of the precautions being put in place, it seems as if the virus is spreading like wildfire and because of this, the entertainment industry has lost out on billions.

As the virus continues to spread, it becomes more difficult to control.
As more and more productions and events are being halted due to the coronavirus, it seems as though some of the most anticipated shows will not be premiering on the big screen any time soon. We’ve listed them all for you.
Disney recently announced that the production of Mulan has been stopped.
The horror film based on the Marvel Comics is also taking a back-seat.
Disney also announced that the production of scientific horror film Antlers has also been suspended indefinitely.
For now, there has been no official announcement of the suspension of Black Widow but there is a likely chance that it will be being pushed back too.
Starring Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae, Paramount Pictures told us that they have delayed the production of the comedy.
The official release date for this movie was set for March but has since been pushed back to the summer.
In order to attract a larger audience, the release date of Peter Rabbit 2 has been pushed back until August.
Marvel was forced to delay this new film after the director Destin Daniel Cretton showed symptoms of the disease and is being tested.
The new comedy starring Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz has been halted in Spain. It does not have an official poster yet.
Production for this film has been halted in Australia after Colonel Tom Parker, who was playing a manager in the film tested positive for the coronavirus.
Wong Kar-wai’s movie, starring Kris Wu, has also been shut down. The development will continue once this pandemic is over.
The production is currently on hold until further notice.
Even after launching the official trailer at the Super Bowl, the film has pushed the release date from April all the way to May.
The date was scheduled for April 1st but has been postponed until the end of the year, November. This is costing the production team over fifty million dollars.
Paramount Pictures also postponed the follow-up film to A Quiet Place just one week before it was set to be released.
After Italy was put on lockdown, the production of the film failed to continue and for good reason. Italy is the second-worst infected country in the world after China.
The TV show has been halted according to NBC Universal.
NBC also announced this one to be on the list.
Along with these 3 TV shows, another thirty-two have been added to the list affected by coronavirus.
The Netflix show starring Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been halted until further notice.
ABC has stopped the production of the popular TV series as producers “assess” the situation.
After trying to film without audiences, talk shows have been suspended altogether.
Seth Meyers’ show is also on that list.
And The Wendy Williams Show too.
Apple recently announced that they were also following suit and the second installment of this show has been halted.
Another Netflix show to call things off was none other than Russian Doll. The highly-anticipated second season may take longer than we thought.
Universal’s Apple show has called it quits for now too.
And the same goes for Rutherford Falls.
The British show that sees celebrities literally racing across the globe has delayed production (obviously) until April at the very least.
The Disney+ show was hit by the coronavirus after the production team landed in Prague. It was revealed on Instagram that filming has officially been shut down.
After one of the cast members was in contact with someone who had tested positive for the disease, Warner Bros suspended filming.
The show was supposed to start filming season forty-one, but that has been pushed back to May when season forty-two was supposed to be in production.
The CBS series halted production right after the outbreak was announced.
Orlando Bloom, who is starring in the series told fans that he is in quarantine, so production cannot continue.
NBC has also decided to delay the competitive show.
The 16th season will have to settle on a new location after the original one was set for Italy. Yikes.
After ditching a live audience, the show had to put a stop to production altogether.
The award show, which was set for March 22nd, will not be rescheduled for a later date.
The award-winning show has put production on pause.
And Empire has recently joined that list too.
USA Network has also pulled the plug on this fan-favorite series. Hopefully, it will be back on track soon.

Netflix has decided to put a fan-favorite on hold until further notice.
Season 11 of the show has been put on hold in Atlanta as the cases of the coronavirus reach over 3000 in the US.
The spin-off show has also joined the list.
FX shows have also stopped. Fargo is just one of them.
The American crime drama has halted production for the foreseeable future.
WarnerMedia has decided to stop the second season of the hit show from being produced.
HBO’s comedy series is also a no-go for now.
The superhero show will not continue to film for now either.
After 143 episodes, it seems as if this programme won’t be getting any more as long as the coronavirus is around.
The drama that started all the way back in 2016, has decided to pause on production too.
The Apple TV+ show has also been shut down.
The show based off of the comic book series with the same name has been put on hold as the US try and deal with this outbreak as effectively as possible.
After gaining a 4/5 star rating on IMDb, this how was set to start production on the next set of episodes. However, it seems unlikely that this will happen any time soon as they have announced their step-back.
