30. Steel Magnolias.
29. Full House.
The exterior used for the Tanners residence is available to visit in San Fransisco on a row known as “The Painted Ladies” and has been known to be as beautiful in real life as it looks on screen.
28. The Amityville Horror.
The 1975 classic might not be considered the ultimate horror film like it was back in the day, but the house is just as creepy. So if you are looking to book a stay here, you better hope and pray you don’t experience the horror rumored around it.
27. Boy Meets World.
The Mathews’ home was advertised for a whopping 1.6 million dollars in 2016, and it still remains on the market today. So if you’ve got the cash to spare, maybe you’ll want to jump at that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
26. A Christmas Story.
I know Christmas only comes around in December but why not make it a reality in the summer too by booking a vacation to the house used in the movie? You can even plan to stay in Ralphie’s room! What’s not to love?
25. Hocus Pocus.
Now, this is one iconic house that no one will ever forget. The white Colonial house with black shutters sits comfortably in Salem, Massachusetts and now you can book a tour (once coronavirus restrictions are lifted) to go and visit the Hocus Pocus home-turned-museum.
24. Breaking Bad.
If you’re looking for an extra dose of Breaking Bad, you can visit the actual house in New Mexico which Walter White and his family lived. But be respectful, as it is now a private residence.
Did you know that Dexter Morgan’s sun-faded apartment complex is actually in Southern Florida even though most of the show was recorded in Long Beach, California? Well, you can visit the apartment block (from a distance because it’s a members-only residence!)
22. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
This one’s for you Potterheads! You can visit the house that was used as the exterior shots for the home in the first Harry Potter movie in Bracknell, but if you’re looking for the full cupboard under the stairs vibe, then you’ll have to book a ticket on the Warner Bros Tour in London.
21. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
We know now that this house has been bought but we just had to mention it on this list because it’s just too iconic not to! We’re jealous AF of the people that managed to buy it.
20. The Holiday.
If you’re looking for dreamy, romantic vibes, then look no further than this 10,324-square mansion in San Marino which you can visit today. It’s no wonder why Kate Winslet was so starstruck, I would be too if I ever stepped foot in this place.
19. Groundhog Day.
If you’re ever planning on staying in Chicago, then why not opt for The Cherry Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast, better known as The Victorian in Groundhog Day.
The house from the 1982 thriller movie sits on a nice, quiet street in California, so make sure if you visit the location, you remain respectful.
17. Sex and The City.
Carrie Bradshaw’s little apartment has been hailed as one of the most iconic locations just because it’s so cute and quiet. Of course, when it’s bustling with fans snapping photos it’s a bit louder than usual, but still beautiful nonetheless. You can visit it too on 66 Perry Street, New York.
16. Outer Banks.
Lowndes Grove is Sarah Cameron’s family home in Outer Banks, located in Charleston, South Carolina is a sight to see and if you’re in the area, I’d highly recommending it.
15. The Dark Knight Rises.
Do you remember the massive manor that acted as Wayne Manor? Well, it’s Nottingham’s Natural History Museum, so you can explore all sorts of historic objects and rooms inside.
14. The Bachelor & The Bachelorette.
Another dreamy location. Villa de la Vina is not actually owned by ABC and you can book a stay there. Imagine this place in the summer, wow.
13. Sleepless in Seattle.
People can visit the houseboat used in the movie. It has a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom and sold for more than $2 million back in 2014 and now it’s owned, but you can still go and see the iconic building in Seattle.
The home used for the exterior shots of the Conner residence in Indiana but remember to be respectful to the owners who bought the home as it is a private residence.
11. Breakfast at Tiffany’s
The Audrey Hepburn classic is seen as an iconic location for visitors that can see the building for themselves. While they can’t go inside, they can take pictures sat outside on the stairs.
Even though the show was shot on a set at Warner Brothers Studios in California, the actual outside shots were taken from a real place in Greenwich Village in New York. And yes, there’s a little cafe at the bottom of them but it’s not as iconic as Central Perk.
Twilight might have ended years ago, but it’s 2021 and we’re still craving a vampire/werewolf fix. Well, here you have it. You can now rent the Swan residence on Airbnb for up to 8 guests at a time. And if you have a look on the website, guests have rated the place a respectable 4.98/5, so it’s basically as good as it gets!
8. Twilight pt 2.
Let’s be honest here, the Cullen family made that house more attractive than it is. Those glass windows, that sparkly skin, what an iconic combination. You might not be able to go inside, but you can still witness the build in all of it’s beauty from the street on which it rests.
7. New Girl.
Tucked away in downtown LA, the apartment blocks used to show the exterior of the apartments used in the show are available for rent… But I can’t promise your roommates will be as fun as the gang in New Girl.
6. A Star Is Born.
Fans managed to find out the location of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s hideaway in Calabasas. It has been confirmed to be on the market for a whopping 2 million.
5. 10 Things I Hate About You.
Now I’m sure you all recognize this house from the cult classic starring the late Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles. In 2018, the house went up on the market for $1.8 million so if you’ve got the money to spare, why not own the iconic house?
4. Home Alone.
Calling all 90s kids, I’m about to make all your childhood dreams come true. Kevin McAllister’s home is available to see on a tour. While you can’t see the inside (but we’re hoping it’s still wrapped up in that old wallpaper), you can easily take a tour of the surrounding areas.
3. The Notebook.
This beautiful 5-bedroom, 4 bathroom estate is Noah’s in The Notebook but can be anyone’s now. And rumors stated that Ryan Gosling even offered a helping hand in redecorating the build for the movie! Who wouldn’t want to say they own something Ryan Gosling worked on? Damn, we wish it was ours.
2. Bird Box.
This home is not a one-trick pony; it has been featured in 3 other films too, according to the new owner. Even though it’s not available on the market anymore, you can still visit it if you’re strolling through LA.
1. Schitt’s Creek.
The iconic Rosebud Motel is currently on sale for $1.5 million if that’s something you’re interested in, although I can’t promise you that Stevie will be there to get you your towels. However, the 10 beautiful guest rooms in the Canadian countryside can probably make up for that.
