According to Louisiana Congressman Clay Higgins, a disturbing twist has emerged.
He recently revealed that something bizarre unfolded when he tried to inspect Crooks’ body.

Higgins claimed that when he requested to see the shooter’s body on August 5th, it was no longer available for review.
In fact, he was told that Crooks’ body wasn’t even there.
The FBI had, shockingly, released the body for cremation just 10 days after the incident.
Higgins called the discovery unsettling, describing it as a “disturbing fact.”

What’s more, it wasn’t just Higgins who was left in the dark.
Local law enforcement and even the county coroner were reportedly unaware of the body’s release.
“Nobody knew,” Higgins said. “It’s like the FBI kept everyone in the dark.”
He didn’t mince words, accusing the FBI of possible “obstruction.”
“We’ll never actually know the full truth,” Higgins admitted with frustration.
“Sure, we’ll get reports, pictures, but I can’t say with certainty that any of it will be accurate without my own examination.”

He went further, comparing the situation to tampering with a crime scene.
“This is nothing short of an obstruction,” Higgins declared.

It didn’t take long for the FBI to fire back.
They issued a stern response to the congressman’s explosive claims.
FBI stands firm.
“Any suggestion the FBI is interfering with congressional efforts is inaccurate and unfounded,” a spokesperson said bluntly.
The agency insisted it followed standard procedure in handling Crooks’ body and the evidence from the crime scene.
They emphasized their commitment to transparency throughout the investigation.
“We’ve been working closely with our law enforcement partners,” the FBI spokesperson added.
The FBI, however, remains adamant that they are fully cooperating with the investigation.
