“The suspect specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and he was going to do that,” Patel revealed on Fox News’ Hannity.
When pressed on his reasoning, Robinson allegedly replied: “Some hatred cannot be negotiated with,” according to Patel.
Asked if a wider conspiracy could be at play, Patel confirmed the probe remains ongoing with all possibilities on the table.
“We’re dedicating every asset to analyze everyone the suspect contacted, texted, or spoke with,” Patel said.
Investigators are reviewing Robinson’s extensive use of the Discord messaging app, along with other social platforms.
“We seized computers, laptops, gaming systems, and cellphones from the suspect and his romantic partner,” Patel explained.

Robinson is expected to be indicted on first-degree murder charges this week in Utah, according to officials.
Bondi noted Utah prosecutors are likely to pursue the death penalty, calling it “very real in Utah.”
