Fetty Wap’s 4-year-old daughter has tragically passed away leaving everyone, including his fans, deeply upset.

The rapper broke down in tears while talking about his daughter Lauren Maxwell’s death yesterday. It was her mother, Torquoise Miami, who recently confirmed the devastating news.

The news of the passing of Fetty Wap’s daughter had the thirty-year-old’s name trending across Twitter as fans shared their condolences. However, there were still those trying to take cheap shots at the rapper with some particularly tasteless posts which fans quickly hit back at.

“Man. Man. Thank y’all, yeah? That’s love. I appreciate ya’ll, for real. Damn. That’s love. She’d be happy as hell,” he said in a video on Instagram.

“Thank y’all, yeah? I appreciate y’all. Look at my little twin right there. Will y’all do me a favour, though? For real. Y’all can do me a favor?

“Just post all butterflies. All butterflies. Shorty loved butterflies. Look at my little baby. Look at my little twin right there. I love you.”

Fetty Wap is the father of 6 children with 5 different women according to various sources, and it is widely believed that he plays an active role in his children’s lives. On Instagram, he shared several photos of himself with his children on Father’s Day.

The ‘Trap Queen’ singer’s daughter, Lauren Maxwell, was the 4th youngest of his 6 children. His other children include Aydin, Zaviera, Amani, Khari, and Zeheir.

Despite presenting the image of a present and interested father, he has been publicly dragged by the mothers for being an absent and unaccountable father.

In 2018, Turquoise Miami, Lauren’s mom, posted on Instagram, claiming Fetty was not paying child support: “I am no longer going to beg him to be a dad to do all the things a dad is supposed to do. I’m doing everything I am supposed to do as a mother, and I will pray for karma,” she wrote. “I’m just not going to dog him like I could.”

Last year, she wrote a similar post, claiming he still hadn’t paid.

Willie Junior Maxwell II, better known by his stage name Fetty Wap, rose to prominence in the rap scene when his debut single ‘Trap Queen’ reached number two on the US charts in May 2015. Raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Maxwell was born with glaucoma in both eyes, and he revealed in a 2015 interview that doctors were unable to save his left eye.

Over the years, Fetty Wap has been on the receiving end of multiple lawsuits including copyright infringement, defamation, property damage, and assault. In November 2017, he was arrested and charged for drunk driving, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, illegally changing lanes, and drag racing.

Mother and father are yet to disclose how little Lauren Maxwell died and it’s not clear when she passed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Laurens’s family at this time.
