There's a lot of stigma around going to the gym.

Many people feel uncomfortable being in such an intense environment, and many often feel judged as to what they're wearing for their work-out.

And now one woman's TikTok video is showing why many women are especially daunted by the idea of going to the gym.

And not everyone feels comfortable in an environment that the gym offers.

Many feel they have to look and dress a certain way...

And it's not hard to see why when you're surrounded by insanely fit people wearing expensive gym gear!

But in reality...

Going to the gym is all about improving your fitness and not about looking good (believe it or not).

There is way too much pressure on people to look a certain way when they work out...

We really don't need skin-tight leggings and sexy cropped tops that cost around $100 to get our fitness into shape, let's face it!

You can wear a baggy t-shirt with a tracksuit...

And you'd still see the same results from your work-out.

Others like to wear tightly fitted exercise clothes...

Which can apparently even boost your performance while working out.

But of course...

Many people feel they are judged by what they wear to the gym, and many others are guilty for "gym shaming" or even "creeping".

And this is completely wrong.

Everybody should be able to wear whatever they please in the gym.

And nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable.

Whether they're a seasoned athlete or a newbie just trying to improve their health.

As difficult as it is...

This certainly shouldn't stop people from using the gym, especially those who are eager to maintain and build their fitness.

And one recent story that went viral just this week - is proving yet again why many women, in particular, get freaked out at the gym.

A fitness influencer recently shared a story about her creepy ordeal.

The influencer, who goes by Julia on the platform, recently shared a video with her 244,000 which shows exactly why some women find the gym a daunting place.

She shared a video of herself working out.

In the clip, Julia can be seen filming herself working out and training her glutes and hips while holding a weighted plate.

But in the background.

A man can be seen seemingly taking a photo of her from behind.

The man then apparently went up to his friend to show him the photograph.

Julia claims she confronted the man but he denied having taking a photo of her.

She shared the video to her TikTok page @juliaapic.

Captioning the post she wrote:

was honestly gonna post this on here when it happened but it was a bit too sensitive at the time lol. genuinely curious what you guys think

The video has since been viewed almost two million times.

And many of the comments agree with Julia's suspicions that the man was taking a photo of her.

Many other comments come from women who claim they've had similar experiences in the gym.

I shouldn't have to write this, but this is so wrong. Nobody and I mean nobody, should feel like they can't work out without somebody snapping a photo of them...

Take a look at the video below.
