Fox News Cuts Ties With Regular Contributor After He Blasted Kamala Harris in Scathing Twitter Rant | 22 Words

Following Kamala Harris' savage takedown of Vice President Pence during their debate, it seems the Democratic challenger has struck a nerve with one Fox News contributor.

But his attack on Harris seems to have massively backfired...

Evidently, Harris has struck a nerve.

 The Democratic vice presidential nominee put on one hell of a show at the first and only vice presidential debate of the year, but not everybody was too impressed...

And one of her biggest detractors?

Now, the vice-presidential debate was an explosive evening, to say the least.

 Harris went head-to-head with Trump’s Vice-President, Mike Pence, in the year's first and only vice presidential debate.

The pair debated twelve feet apart, with Plexiglass shields separating them...

 A health and safety precaution requested by the Biden-Harris campaign, the Associated Press reported.

However, concerns regarding the distance between the podiums were still rife throughout the night.

Many were worried about Pence's exposure to the virus, considering the President was infected just a few days ago.

And many even believed that thanks to the virus, the whole debate should have been virtual...

As should all future debates planned for this year.

Despite these concerns, however, the debate went ahead.

 Susan Page, the Washington bureau chief of USA Today, moderated the event, which was dominated heavily by the coronavirus crisis, the very thing that hospitalized the President just days ago.

The virus became the main talking point of the event.

 In the 90-minute live debate at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Harris accused Pence and the president of deliberately misleading Americans about the lethality of coronavirus. "They knew, and they covered it up."

However, Pence shot back by accusing the Biden-Harris campaign of copying the White House's pandemic strategy...

 Referring to a blunder that ended Biden's 1987 run for the presidency when he plagiarized a speech.

Page then quizzed Harris on whether she would be taking any government-approved vaccine in the run-up to the election...

 In which Harris responded by stating firmly that she "would not take a jab touted by Mr. Trump without the say-so of medical professionals."

Of course, this didn't sit well with Pence, who heads the White House coronavirus task force.

 He retorted: "The fact that you continue to undermine public confidence in a vaccine if the vaccine emerges during the Trump administration I think is unconscionable."

Putting the pandemic to one side, a whole array of other topics were brushed upon throughout the evening...

Racism in America being one of them. Harris slammed Trump's track record with racism, and reminded viewers that "we are talking about an election in twenty-seven-days where last week, the President of the United States, in front of 70 million Americans, refused to condemn white supremacists."

However, Pence doesn't think our country has any racism issues.

When discussing the highly-publicized murder of Breonna Taylor, Pence stated that he "trusts our justice system", and blamed the grand jury for the injustice surrounding the case.

And, of course, there were some more lighthearted moments, too.

At one part of the debate, Pence had a fly on his head for around 5 minutes, a hilarious blunder that has spawned thousands of internet memes.

And, of course...

 There were Harris' golden moments.

Firstly, viewers relished when the Californian senate politely - but firmly - put Pence back in his place.

"Mr. Vice President, I'm talking," she shot at Pence as he attempted to speak over her, in a somewhat more civilized reaction to Biden's "shut up, man."

And, in between the policy talk, many viewers had one big takeaway:

 Harris' facial reactions when Pence repeatedly interrupted her were nothing short of iconic.

The glare, the hair tuck... Everything about this is perfect.

She pulled many faces throughout the evening...

And every one of them was as iconically scathing as the last.

However, there's one person who didn't find the whole thing to be iconic...

 And that's Fox News contributor Harlan Hill.

He took to Twitter to share his issues with Harris.

 But it seems to have rather savagely backfired on Hill himself ...

Hill took to Twitter to share his controversial opinions.

People were not impressed.

But to make matters worse?

He's refused to back off and has in fact doubled down on his vile views.

He's continued his tirade.

And people are not pleased.

But it seems this wasn't a wise move for Harlan.
