It has been reported today that the beloved actor and wrestler, Tommy "Tiny" Lister, has sadly died at the age of sixty-two.

Lister was known for his variety of performances, but his towering 6'5 height made him even more memorable...

But his manager, Cindy Cowen, called him "a gentle giant" with "a smile as broad as you could imagine."

He was known best for his performance in the 1995 comedy Friday, where he played Deebo...

He also appeared as a prisoner in Christopher Nolan’s 2008 blockbuster The Dark Knight.

Lister’s other notable roles include The Fifth Element (1997), Little Nicky (2000), and Austin Powers in Goldmember (20020).

Cowan announced the tragic news...

Telling TMZ that he had been found unconscious in his California home on Thursday, December 10th. She said: "He was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold. Everyone loved him. A real gentle giant. We're all devastated."

Lister had been diagnosed with Covid-19 earlier this year...

He recovered, but Cowan admitted he had trouble breathing after becoming sick just a week ago. He was found dead at the scene. His cause of death isn't yet known. Rest in Peace.
