Earlier today, Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building, protesting against the 2020 Presidential Election results. Supporters of President Trump pushed past the police force, who were protecting the building and the lawmakers inside.
The crowds were able to breach the premises and enter the building, dismantling barricades and continuing to protest inside.
The building is currently on lockdown, according to the Washington Post. A 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew for today has also been put in place by the Mayor of Washington D.C.
Supporters of President Trump broke through barricades earlier today, entering the U.S. Capitol building and continuing to riot.

The 45th President mentioned the "Historic day" on Twitter earlier this week, encouraging his supporters to join in protest against the results.And then once again before the rally ensued... He spoke to the crowd, stating: “We will never give up, we will never concede. You don’t concede when there’s theft involved."
Trump supporters dressed in red, white, and blue entered the building chanting their support for the 45th President.
