Furious Netflix fans are up in arms, threatening to ditch their subscriptions after catching a glimpse of an explicit clip from the streaming giant’s latest X-rated drama.

As the controversy reignites, the streaming giant Netflix faces mounting pressure to reconsider a popular TV show’s place in its catalog.

Titled “Supersex,” this series is more than just steamy scenes—it’s loosely based on the wild life of Rocco Tano, who transformed into the legendary Rocco Siffredi, the world’s most renowned adult film star.

Alessandro Borghi takes the lead role, portraying Siffredi’s journey from a simple guy in Ortona, Italy, to his iconic status in the adult entertainment industry.

Since his debut in 1986, Rocco Siffredi has left his mark in over 1,500 X-rated films and reportedly bedded more than 5,000 people.

But the drama isn’t just unfolding on-screen. Netflix viewers are fuming over the explicit content, with many threatening to pull the plug on their subscriptions.

Netflix shared a steamy snippet on their U.S. Instagram page, featuring Borghi getting up close and personal with several scantily clad women.

However, the video vanished as mysteriously as it appeared, leaving fans wondering if Netflix bowed to pressure or decided to nip the controversy in the bud.

Comments flooded in, with some users expressing outrage over the inappropriate content and vowing to safeguard their children by canceling their accounts.

One furious parent exclaimed, “Now we have porn on Netflix too? Cancelling account while we speak, my kids can’t see this.”

Another questioned the platform’s appropriateness for all ages, asking, “Isn’t this inappropriate for a platform where KIDS FOLLOW YOU?!”

Critics voiced concerns about normalizing explicit content, lamenting the lack of warnings compared to other, less explicit material.

Amidst the backlash, Francesca Manieri, the series’ filmmaker, defended her work, aiming to challenge societal norms and provoke introspection.

Manieri’s goal? To put men face-to-face with themselves, challenging what she terms the “phallocentric system” and encouraging reflection on gender dynamics.

But this isn’t the first time Netflix has sparked controversy. Earlier, viewers were rattled by “Raël: The Alien Prophet,” a docuseries delving into claims of extraterrestrial encounters.

This four-part documentary follows Claude Vorilhon, a French journalist turned self-proclaimed prophet, who claims enlightenment through alien abduction.

The streaming giant seems unafraid to push boundaries, leaving viewers both intrigued and unsettled by its daring content choices.
