Huge news just in.

The latest news regarding Gabby Petito’s disappearance (and the subsequent disappearance of her fiance, Brian Laundrie), is that Petito’s family have now shared a video appearing to show the van Petito and Laundrie were travelling in parked up days after Petito was last seen.

Petito’s step-mother shared the video on their ‘Find Gabby’ Facebook page from YouTuber ‘Red, White & Bethune’. The video shows a Ford Transit Van with Florida plates that the posters believe to be the vehicle that Petito and Laundrie had used to travel the country.

The video was taken on August 27 at around 6.30 pm at the Spread Creek Campground. This is where police are currently searching for the missing woman.

Captioning the video, Petito’s step-mother wrote:

North Port Police said Saturday morning that they are now currently searching for ‘the vast Carlton Reserve,’ a 24,565-acre preserve north of his home in North Port, for Laundrie.

Police said:

Josh Taylor, a public information officer for the North Port Police said:

Taylor added:

Friday is the first time they have spoken with investigators in detail. It is important to note that while Brian is a person of interest in Gabby’s disappearance, he is not wanted for a crime. We are not currently working a crime investigation. We are now working a multiple missing person investigations.

Following the news of Laundrie being reported ‘missing’, Petito’s family have responded.

The lawyer for the Petito family released a statement saying:

All of Gabby’s family want the world to know that Brian is not missing, he is hiding. Gabby is missing.

A final text message was sent from Petito’s phone to her mother which simply said there was no phone signal in Yosemite, however her mother does not believe the message actually came from Gabby.
