Trigger Warning: This article contains extremely graphic content that some readers may find upsetting.
Barely a week on from the terrifying ordeal…
Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer has spoken out about surviving the incident.
News of Gaga’s dogs being stolen and their walker shot devastated the internet.
Because the thirty-four-year-old has become one of the most beloved pop stars of all time.
The release of The Fame in 2010 is considered to be Gaga’s breakthrough.
Singles such as “Poker Face” and “Just Dance” reached number 1 in the U.S, Canada, Australia, and the U.K.
And she is now best known for hits such as “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” “Born This Way,” and of course, “A Million Reasons.”
Her ever-changing style over the years is something that truly put her on the map.
Nope, that’s not getting forgotten about any time soon!
Lady Gaga has had a couple of acting stints, such as starring in American Horror Story and A Star is Born.
She even owns her own beauty brand.
Is there anything this woman can’t do?
And she is known for being super supportive and considerate of her worldwide fan base – which is one of the many reasons as to why people love her so much.
And it’s no secret that her self-made success has benefitted her family greatly.
So, of course, fans were devastated to hear of the news surrounding her beloved pets and her dog-walker.
If the initial news wasn’t scary enough, now Ryan Fischer has opened up about the whole ordeal…
Law enforcement has claimed that the singer’s dog-walker was targeted by thieves Wednesday night in Hollywood, just before 10 PM, TMZ reported.
Ryan Fischer had 3 of Gaga’s French Bulldogs when one gunman – and possibly more – approached him.
Details surrounding their altercation remain unclear… Until now.
It is already known that Fischer was shot and the gunman made off with 2 of the dogs.
The third dog ran away but was later recovered.
According to Metro, Fischer, who reportedly sustained 4 gunshots to the chest in the incident, was in “grave” condition when he was transported to the hospital. However, TMZ has since reported he’s expected to make a full recovery.
The star offered a staggering $500,000 to anyone who safely returns her dogs…
With “no questions asked.”
Since the offer was made, TMZ managed to obtain new video footage of the incident via a neighbor’s security camera.
In the clip, you can see Lady Gaga’s dog walker get approached by a few men who tell him to “give [them] up” before shooting him in the chest multiple times.
Fischer can be heard screaming for help throughout the incident.
Even despite the traumatic nature of the clip, it had been approved by Gaga’s team in order to help find the missing dogs.
Right now, there are no known suspects for the shooting and dognapping, but hopefully, this will change in the upcoming days.
But on Saturday, news emerged that the dogs had been found…
And they’re all safe and well.
A rep for Gaga confirmed the good news…
Police also confirmed that the dogs had been ‘reunited’ with the singer…
And now less than a week after he was hospitalized, Ryan Fischer has opened up about the incident…
“4 days ago, while a car sped away and blood poured from my gunshot wound, an angel trotted over and laid next to me,” Fischer wrote on Instagram. “My panicked screams calmed as I looked at her, even though it registered that the blood pooling around her tiny body was my own. I cradled Asia as best I could, thanked her for all the incredible adventures we’d been on together, apologized that I couldn’t defend her brothers, and then resolved that I would still try to save them… and myself.”
“Hopeful that my calm(ish) and forceful pleas for the urgency of my care,” he continued, “as well as the focused descriptions of the dogs would be enough to help me and get enough police and media attention to find the boys, I looked back at my guardian angel.
“I smiled at her shaking form, thankful that at least she would be okay. From that point, right as the neighbors poured from their homes and restaurant to us on the sidewalk, life has taken a very sudden and unexpected turn.”
He said in a second post, “I am still in recovery from a very close call with death and have kept myself (for the most part, I mean I am human) from the growing media story.”
“I will write and say more later, but the gratitude for all the love I feel from around this planet is immense and intense. I felt your healing support! Thank you. I am humbled and grateful that attention and focus from the police were enough to get Koji and Gustav back to safety, and I know they are committed to bringing these criminals and attempted murderers to justice. I am so appreciative of everything you continue to do.”
Although it’ll take time for him to fully recover, he said: “A lot of healing still needs to happen, but I look forward to the future and the moment when I get bombarded with kisses and licks (and maybe even an excitement pee?) from Asia, Koji, and Gustav.”
We wish him a speedy recovery!
