This is a gesture that has warmed the internet’s heart today.

Sinise is known for being one of the kindest guys in Hollywood.

He’s best known for his role as double-amputee Lt. Dan in Robert Zemeckis’s 1994 film Forrest Gump.

But today, he’s found internet fame for a different reason.

He spent his Thanksgiving handing out meals to veterans in the Victory Park apartment complex in Lincoln, Nebraska.

“To our nation’s Veterans,” he wrote.

“When I think about you all, those who have served this great country, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. It is because of you and your willingness to do the heavy lifting to defend our Republic that we live in the land of the free.”

“It means a lot that he is recognizing them. They sometimes feel forgotten, especially as they get older,” shared Property Manager Samantha Garcia.

“With Gary being active with veterans himself, it means a lot coming from him.”

“It’s so important to remember that these people are here and remember what they’ve done for us,” Garcia continued, as per Breitbart.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our readers!
