What exactly is a millennial?

Millennials are also known as "Generation Y"...

And a Millennial is basically anyone born between the mid-1990s to early 2000s - especially between the years 1981 - 1996 which are seen as the defining range for the generation.

And what about Gen Z?

Generation Z is the demographic cohort succeeding Millennials and preceding Generation Alpha. Yep, it all sounds very serious and scary.

A person who falls under the Gen Z category is generally born between the late 1990s and the early 2010s.

They're basically the generation that comes after Millennials.

One would think that people of different generations would just go about their lives as normal, right?

Wrong. For some reason, a war has been sparked between Millennials and Gen-Z (or Zoomers, as they like to be called) and things are now starting to get out of hand.

And thanks to social media...

Millennials and Zoomers just love to constantly throw shade at each other online.

But this week, it seems that the Gen Z youngsters have taken things to a whole other level...

And they have well and truly gone in on Millennials on TikTok - which is just classic, we must say, as TikTok is known as the teenager's app.

A "Zoomer" decided to share some brutal stabs that she came across on TikTok...

And believe us when we say this, they don't hold back.

It seems that Zoomers have a pretty solid interpretation of Millennials...

via: Twitter

And that interpretation involves Harry Potter, coffee, and a lot of wine.

What's more mature...

Watching/reading Harry Potter or using drugs? Seriously, Zoomers. It seems that you're the ones who need to grow up here!

Zoomers then took a dig at the generic Millennial's living situation...

via: Twitter

There's never a reason to shame someone's house... come on, guys!

These guys are really fixated on the whole Harry Potter thing, aren't they...

via: Twitter

And we'll have you know that there are some pretty cool video game character names out there!

There's no denying that Millennials drink a lot of wine...

via: Twitter

But maybe Zoomers will understand this when they have full-time jobs and bills to pay?

Even the avocado on toast isn't safe...

via: Twitter

Yep, the Zoomers have also come for the world's favorite brunch snack.

Total savagery.

Zoomers really don't like Millenials, do they!

After a huge Twitter storm, the user who shared the comments revealed the video in which it all started...

A Zoomer called Maya Lepa posted a TikTok of herself saying she doesn't want to be associated with Millennials who use Harry Potter as a personality trait. Wow.

This trigged a huge Twitter argument...

And it didn't take long for Millennials to hit back at the Zoomers.

The Millennials didn't hold back...

And they branded Zoomers as "loudmouths" who haven't yet experienced harsh realities because they are simply teenagers.

But as this Twitter user pointed out...

People shouldn't be shaming others for their interests and hobbies. Who cares if someone likes Harry Potter or enjoys drinking wine? It's not a reason to hate on someone, at all, and there are much bigger fish to fry right now.

Maybe it's time for Zoomers to be looking at the bigger picture right now...
