Georgia has announced election officials will conduct a recount by hand of all legal ballots received, due to Trump questioning the validity of the results...
Donald Trump isn't a happy man.
via: GettyAs you will all be aware by now, the president suffered a highly-publicized loss to his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, for this year's presidential elections.
Of course, Trump has been doing everything in his power to challenge the result...
via: GettyAnd, as well as refusing to concede, he has repeatedly threatened the Biden campaign with a number of long-shot lawsuits and demands to recount the votes.
However, Biden has been powering ahead regardless of the threats...
Now, this year's presidential election has been perhaps the most anticipated in decades.
via: GettyAnd, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.
Though polls across the country closed on Tuesday, November 3rd...
via: GettyIt took days for a result to be announced. As the days trickled by, each State gradually announced their winning candidate and, throughout those tense couple of days, the numbers remained painfully close between President Trump and former vice president, Joe Biden.
Trump was clearly feeling the heat...
via: GettyAnd, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, States where Joe Biden was projected to win.
He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...
via: GettyAnd then went on to threaten legal action against any State wherein Biden had won.
Though a Biden campaign lawyer brushed off the threats as "meritless."
via: Getty“I want to emphasize that for their purposes these lawsuits don’t have to have merit. That’s not the purpose. ... It is to create an opportunity for them to message falsely about what’s taking place in the electoral process," lawyer, Bob Bauer said, accusing the Trump campaign of “continually alleging irregularities, failures of the system and fraud without any basis."
But, regardless of his many threats, the results were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.
via: GettyThe Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College - meaning Biden had officially won the election.
Shortly after his victory, Biden tweeted this:

Democrats all over the country quickly began rejoicing at the news of Biden's historic win...

However, there was someone who hasn't been in the mood for celebrating...
via: GettyAnd that is President Trump, of course!
Now, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous.
via: GettyThough the president is a historically sore loser - he's very rarely had to admit defeat ever in his life - and has long made wild accusations against the Biden campaign team, people simply cannot believe his refusal to accept what has happened.
His first response to Biden's win was to release a lengthy and damning statement...In which he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. As per Sky News, the statement read: “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. “The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. “In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process. Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."
The statement then went on to explain how legal proceedings will begin immediately. It continued: “Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated. “The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. “It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room - and then fight in court to block their access. “So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American People have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands."
And the frenzied Twitter rants were quick to follow. In his rage, Trump took to the social media platform to dispute the result further, insisting that he was the one to have won.
And it didn't take him long to slam the Biden campaign as "thieves.""The big city machines are corrupt. This was a stolen election. Best pollster in Britain wrote this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it’s impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states."
However, he still tried to take some small victory from the situation...And proudly Tweeted that he received a record-breaking number of votes. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Don.
However, the statistics beg to differ. At the time of writing, Biden has received a total of 76,997,471 votes, while Trump brings up the rear with 71,926,263 votes - a close call, yes, but still a loss all the same.
But does that matter to Donald Trump? It certainly does not. As he has clearly voiced his concern over apparent "voter fraud."
Because of his accusations, Georgia's secretary of state announced in a conference that the state is heading for a recount.
I embrace the hand recount in Georgia. Nothing like seeing Donald J. Trump lose fucking twice.— Andrew Goss 👊USAF👊 (@Andrew Goss 👊USAF👊)1605137014.0
Georgia’s secretary of state announced its decision yesterday...And it is now official that election officials will be forced to recount all votes by hand upon the request of the Trump Administration questioning the accuracy.
Despite the state not being called for either party, Biden is leading by 14,111-votes.When asked about the recounting process, the secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, said: “This will help build confidence. It will be an audit, a recount and a re-canvas all at once. It will be a heavy lift."
All 159 counties in Georgia are going through with the recount...
