A TikToker who used Gorilla Glue as hairspray has truly left the world in shock this week after discussing her bizarre hair mishap online. And, after days of pain and uncertainty, one man decided to prove she was being overdramatic by sticking a cup to his mouth with the same glue. But the stunt has hugely backfired ...
You've all probably heard of this story by now, right?
Yep, a woman ran out of hairspray and decided Gorilla Glue was the next best thing.
On top of all this, she filmed the whole thing for TikTok.
People just couldn't believe what she did...
After spending a whole month trying to remove the glue from her hair, Tessica Brown admitted herself to a local hospital in Louisiana.
She later uploaded a video to TikTok showing her followers that she'd literally tried everything to remove it.
According to Tessica, she couldn't wash out the glue or even shave her head, due to the hair being so slick against her skin.
Tessica originally posted a video of how it all happened: "When I do my hair, I like to finish it off with a little Göt2b Glued Spray, you know, just to keep it in place.
"Well, I didn't have any more Göt2b Glued Spray, so I used this: Gorilla Glue spray. Bad, bad, bad idea. My hair, it don't move. You hear what I'm telling you? It. Don't. Move."
Gorilla Glue even responded, telling TMZ:
"The less aggressive solvent for her hair/scalp would be rubbing alcohol to try and saturate her hair and then gently comb it out and shampoo."
The company went on to say her hair is "likely fractured at the root," as it's been stuck for such a long time.
They added that Gorilla Glue staff "certainly hope for the best."
In her initial video, which has been viewed over eighteen million times...
Tessica said: "Hey, y'all. For those of you that know me know that my hair has been like this for about a month now. It's not by choice. No, it's not by choice."
At one point in the clip, she pats her head showing just how hard her hair has set.
Some people advised her to wash her hair with shampoo, resulting in Tessica uploading a video showing why that didn't help.
She said: "Look, you wipe it off and nothing happens. Like, this is the life that I'm living at this point."

But there was one man who did not believe Tessica - and went to extreme lengths to prove she was overreacting.
Len Martin took to Facebook to take on his own "Gorilla Glue challenge."

And, needless to say, it didn't go as planned.
"I've got some Gorilla glue right here," he explains.
"I'm going to take it and put it on this cup, and put it on my mouth."
He assumed he'd be able to "lick it off."
But (obviously) the cup got stuck to his mouth and had to be painfully peeled off.
"I thought that chick with the Gorilla Glue was making that story up."
"But no, it's real. I don't know why I tried it."
"I didn't think it was that serious, that Gorilla Glue did all of that. I was trying to show people that it wasn't as serious as she was making it to be."
Needless to say, don't try this at home!
