Gorilla Glue girl is looking to become the Kylie Jenner of haircare products now that she’s released her own line of products. She’s wanting to be a little more like Oprah too, apparently!
Tessica Brown is now selling hairspray, sleek edge control, and hair growth drops…
And she says her initial line of products was inspired by her not so welcomed substitution of using Gorilla Glue spray adhesive instead of normal hair spray.
She told TMZ that the recent launch of her “Forever Hair” products has been an amazing success with over $25,000 in sales and it has her determined to become a billionaire – just like Kylie Jenner did with her makeup line.
Brown already has some pretty ambitious plans with the profits she’s made…
She said she’s going to buy a house in Louisiana and once she rakes in more money, it’ll be time for her “Oprah moment.”
“Trust the process,” she wrote on her instagram.
Back in February, Brown went viral after she uploaded a panicked video on TikTok following her applying Gorilla Glue spray to her hair when she had run out of her usual hairspray.
After numerous hospital visits, Brown eventually had to undergo surgery to remove the superglue adhesive from her damaged scalp.
“We are very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident that Miss Brown experienced using our Spray Adhesive on her hair. We are glad to see in her recent video that Miss Brown has received medical treatment,” Gorilla Glue posted on Twitter in response to the wild incident.
But it’s clear the painful mistake has paid off well for Brown as if it wasn’t for her foolish blunder, she wouldn’t have gained global recognition and, more importantly, wouldn’t have launched her haircare brand!
Brown’s followers have hyped her ability to make lemonade from lemons…
“You will do great! Continue to inspire,” “We’re all rooting for you!! Congratulations,” and “Way to go! Congrats on your success!”
That’s one way of becoming a major success right?
However, some haven’t taken to Brown’s success as kindly as others.
“I love how this lady does something stupid and she gets 20k+. Whereas we tried a GFM for my Mom’s funeral after she was murdered/gunned down by her fiancé, yet we couldn’t get even close to enough to cover a funeral and bills.”
What do you think about Brown’s success that has come from her eye-watering mistake?
