A TikToker who used Gorilla Glue as hairspray has received a generous offer from a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, but it’s not going to be easy.
In fact, the surgeon has outlined exactly what it will take to fix her hair and it has left people well and truly shocked. Keep scrolling for the full story…
That’s right, the woman whose hair has taken the internet by storm finally received some good news…
But she’s not in the clear just yet.
As we all know, the woman in question had to go to the hospital in the hopes she could get Gorilla Glue removed from her hair.
Yep, she ran out of hairspray and decided it was the next best thing.
On top of all this, she filmed the whole thing for TikTok. People can’t believe what she did…
After spending a whole month trying to remove the glue from her hair, Tessica Brown admitted herself to a local hospital in Louisiana.
She later uploaded a video to TikTok showing her followers that she’s literally tried everything to remove it.
According to Tessica, she can’t wash out the glue or even shave her head, due to the hair being so slick against her skin.
Tessica originally posted a video of how it all happened: “When I do my hair, I like to finish it off with a little Göt2b Glued Spray, you know, just to keep it in place.
“Well, I didn’t have any more Göt2b Glued Spray, so I used this: Gorilla Glue spray. Bad, bad, bad idea. My hair, it don’t move. You hear what I’m telling you? It. Don’t. Move.”
Gorilla Glue has even responded, telling TMZ:
“The less aggressive solvent for her hair/scalp would be rubbing alcohol to try and saturate her hair and then gently comb it out and shampoo.”
The company went on to say her hair is “likely fractured at the root,” as it’s been stuck for such a long time.
They added that Gorilla Glue staff “certainly hope for the best.”
In her initial video, which has been viewed over eighteen million times…
Tessica says: “Hey, y’all. For those of you that know me know that my hair has been like this for about a month now. It’s not by choice. No, it’s not by choice.”
At one point in the clip, she pats her head showing just how hard her hair has set.
Some people advised her to wash her hair with shampoo, resulting in Tessica uploading a video showing why that hasn’t helped.
She says: “Look, you wipe it off and nothing happens. Like, this is the life that I’m living at this point.”
But, it seems since her videos blew up, a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills has offered his services.
Dr. Michael Obeng says he can fix Tessica’s problem, but it won’t be easy…
She will be flying out on Wednesday from Louisiana to Los Angeles to have the procedure done. Dr. Obeng estimates it will take roughly 3 days to remove the glue completely.
Not only has this provided a bit of hope for Tessica, but Dr. Obeng has also agreed to perform the $12,500 procedure for free!
He is confident he can remove the glue using medical-grade remover.
We can’t wait to see what miracles he can perform…
