Gunman On Loose After Firing At Family ‘Until He Was Out Of Bullets’ When Ball Rolled Into His Yard

A North Carolina man is currently on the lam following a shooting spree.

The shooter has been named as Robert Louis Singletary.

Prior to the rampage, a basketball had rolled into Singletary’s yard.

He then shot at Kinsley White, her mom Ashley Hilderbrand, and her father, William White.

He was reportedly enraged about the ball, according to WSOC-TV.

William White was critically injured.

While Kinsley White was wounded along with her mother, Ashley Hilderbrand.

Kinsley will reportedly need stitches to her face.

“We don’t even know the man,” Kinsley told WSOC-TV.

”Why did you shoot my daddy and me? Why did you shoot a kid’s dad?”

“He looked at my husband and my daughter and told them, ‘I’m going to kill you,’” a neighbor continued.

Singletary fled the scene and is reportedly still on the run.

He will be charged with four counts of first-degree attempted murder.

Alongside two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, Gaston County police said.

They are offering a $1,000 reward for the fugitive.

“I want to say to the people of Gaston County — this sort of violence will not stand,” Police Chief Stephen Zill said.
