However, things only get worse for the couple as they recently decided to give us all some advice on how to combat the coronavirus. Many have deemed their words as "ridiculous" and "annoying." But now that Donald Trump has weighed in on the couple's issues, it seems as if the whole world really is against them...

Things have not been going well for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex lately.
via: Getty ImagesIt all started with the denouncing of their involvement with the royal family and everything else, including their list of new enemies, followed suit.
But we have to admit, Meghan and Harry are still one of the most famous couples in the world.
via: ShutterstockHeadlines were made all over the world when the British Royal Family's Prince Harry announced his romance with the Suits actress, Meghan Markle.
It all started with a blind date...
via: Getty ImagesThe couple met back in 2016 when they were set up by a mutual friend who thought the two would hit it off.
And their friend's hunch was apparently right...
via: ShutterstockBecause the pair hit it off, and they immediately arranged to see each other again, eventually going on to have 2 more dates in London.
And, in 2017, after a couple of months of privacy...
via: ShutterstockThe pair officially went public with their relationship.
Meghan was instantly catapulted into the royal spotlight.
via: ShutterstockThough she was already pretty well known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, the California-born actress was thrown into levels of fame that she had never experienced before.
The world quickly became Meghan and Harry obsessed.
via: ShutterstockAnd people were delighted to hear the news of their engagement later that year.
And, not ones to waste any time...
via: Getty ImagesThe couple officially tied the knot in May 2018.
The ceremony was simply stunning.
via: ShutterstockThe royals aren't ones to hold back, are they? Harry and Meghan wed in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle, which became one of the most-watched televised events of all time.
Meghan radiated with happiness on her big day...She looked simply beautiful.
And, not long after the wedding, the newly appointed Duke and Duchess of Sussex had some more exciting news...
via: ShutterstockThey were expecting! On October 15th, 2018, the couple announced their pregnancy.
And, on May 6th, 2019...
via: Getty ImagesArchie Mountbatten-Windsor was welcomed into the world.
They make for the cutest little family. But things haven't been as rosy and smooth-sailing as they have been appearing. And it gets worse since the coronavirus outbreak started taking over the world...
Meghan hasn't had the easiest time...
via: ShutterstockJoining the British royal family was never going to be an easy transition, given that a person has to give up their entire life in order to be a part of the monarchy. But Meghan's experience has been especially difficult.
Many dedicated royalists weren't happy to see an American woman of colour in the monarchy...
via: ShutterstockAnd many attacked the Duchess, slamming her as "fake," with some going as far as accusing her of breaking up the royal family entirely.
She has also been relentlessly attacked by the press...

But, the couple have seemingly had enough of the harassment and the criticism...Because they have announced that they will be officially stepping down as senior members of the royal family.
They made the announcement on their joint Instagram page, Sussex Royal.
The couple plan on providing a more "normal" upbringing for Archie...
via: InstagramAnd have announced that they will be splitting their time between the U.K and North America. “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity," they wrote.
But what exactly have the other royals had to say about their controversial decision? The Queen released a statement, which read: “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family."
But behind closed doors...
via: Getty ImagesMatters have reportedly been far from smooth sailing.
In fact, reports surfaced that senior royals were left “hurt" by the shock announcement that was made "without warning."
via: Getty ImagesAnd of course, the news has sparked a whole new wave of criticism to head Meghan's way.
A family friend made some shocking claims...PEOPLE that the Sussexes felt they had "no choice" but to handle things the way they have. However, their feelings are much stronger than we initially thought.
The source went on to say that there's so much "bad blood" in the family...
But what many people have failed to take into consideration...
via: Getty ImagesIs how hard this whole experience must have been for Meghan - as she was a new mother at the time of the media firestorm.
But, since the shocking announcement, people are wondering the same thing...
via: Getty ImagesHow exactly is the couple planning on being financially independent? Donald Trump decided he had an answer for the former royals... Read on to see his savage tweet.
They do have other options though...
via: Getty ImagesOf course, we already know they'll be getting money from Prince Charles, but there were also rumors swirling that the pair were in talks with a Hollywood elite team. However, this won't be happening any time soon because of the current state of the world.
It seems they've already hit many major hurdles.Daily Mail, the couple have been told to remove the word "royal" from their branding on both their social media and website.
This could cause huge issues for their trademarked name.
via: Getty ImagesThe pair have been trying to gain the international rights to their "Sussex Royal" brand as they prepare to move onto this new stage in their lives.
But, according to reports, the Queen has put her foot down.
via: Getty ImagesThe move comes after the Queen allegedly felt it was "inappropriate" for Meghan and Harry to use the word "royal" in their branding given the fact they have chosen to go their own way. But the couples' initial hard feelings might have been stronger than we thought.
Omid Scobie, Bazaar.com’s royal editor and a journalist in Harry and Meghan’s inner circle said this:
via: Getty Images“Things might have been different if a family member or two had stood up for them during the darkest times."
But apparently, no one did.
via: Getty ImagesHe referred to them as "a couple very much hurting", who were forced to say goodbye to their team. He also mentioned Prince Harry’s heartbreak at giving up his military honors, describing it as “a wound that will take time to heal."
And since the coronavirus outbreak, it's just been one hit after another...
via: Getty ImagesFirstly, Prince Harry's Invictus Games have been canceled.
The news comes after the Board of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.
via: Getty Images"In light of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, the Board of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, along with the Invictus Games Foundation, are forced to conclude that organising the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, presented by Jaguar Land Rover, can no longer take place as planned from 9 to 16 May 2020."
via: Getty Images"We are now investigating all options to reschedule the Invictus Games, subject to the availability of key facilities and resources, to May or June 2021. Significant planning to scope and confirm this option is underway."
Things get worse for the couple as they recently tried to address the pandemic.
But it was this part that really had everyone frustrated:
Many Instagram users took to the comments to troll the couple.
via: InstagramOne user insinuated that Meghan herself had written this "ridiculous" post.
While a Canadian user got passionate.
via: InstagramAre they blaming Meghan and Harry for infecting the people of the country? That's too harsh.
And it seems as Donald Trump had his own advice to give to the royals.
via: Getty ImagesWell, it looks like more of a threat than anything. While also dealing with the rising number of cases in the United States, it seems as though the President found a minute to tweet about Harry and Meghan.
This is what he had to say:That's all good and well but they didn't ask or recommend that we pay for them... So where has this come from?
"There are people dying, Donald."

And now, Harry and Meghan have responded to Trump's savage comment...
via: Getty ImagesA spokesperson for the couple said: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the U.S. government for security resources. "Privately funded security arrangements have been made."
The important thing in all of this is that Trump remains focussed.
via: Getty ImagesListen to the government and stay at home so we can fight this pandemic. Stay safe, folks.
