Harry Potter actress, Jessie Cave, took to Instagram today to share the news that she has given birth to a healthy baby boy. However, in her detailed post, she also detailed the horrors of her "terrifying" delivery.

And the latest celebrity to welcome a little one into the world?

Well, it's the Harry Potter star, Jessie Cave.

Jessie portrayed the besotted Lavender Brown in both Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.

But, in the last couple of years, she has been focusing on motherhood.

She and her partner, fellow comedic actor, Alfie Brown, already have 2 children...

Their eldest, Donnie, was born in 2014, and their daughter, Margot is 4.

She announced her latest pregnancy back in June, writing humorously:

"Oops I did it again."

Her pregnancy went smoothly...

And she would regularly provide her 137K Instagram followers with updates and candid insights into her journey.

But, when she went into labor yesterday...

Things got a little scary.

Though her baby boy, Abraham “Bam" Benjamin, was delivered safely, she admitted that the birth was a "terrifying" experience.

Writing on Instagram, Jessie explained: "This has been a very different experience to my first two births... much more humbling, terrifying, and out of my control. We are currently in the neonatal unit but he’s a strong boy and it’s the safest place for him right now."

She explained how their son been "wheeled away out of our arms" was one of the "hardest moments of our lives."

But she continued: "Hopefully he will be with us soon and it will be even more perfect. And BIG LOVE AND RESPECT for all the mothers who’ve experienced the neonatal unit before us, along with us."
