Ever since it was announced that the world's biggest Harry Potter-themed store would be opening in New York, we've been waiting for the day we can have a peek inside...
And that day has finally come!
We've even got an opening date for you guys, so read on to find that out as well as an all-important look inside the new store.
Now, without J.K Rowling, none of this would have been possible.
What started out as mere musing while stuck on a delayed train in London, 1990, a young Joanne Rowling conjured up the magical story of Harry Potter.
The author has single-handedly built an empire.

But this success didn't come easily to the young author.
Rowling famously struggled with marriage and money issues in the 4 years she spent working on the first Harry Potter book and, in 1994, she found herself as a newly divorced single mom living out of her sister's spare room in the Scottish city of Edinburgh.
And, unbelievably, her idea was turned down by several different publishers...
Who reportedly found the idea to be "too long-winded for children."
Even her literary agent allegedly warned her, "You do realize, you will never make a fortune out of writing children's books?"
It was a dark and difficult time for the young woman.
And, in 1997, her hard work finally paid off.

The book was an instant success.

And, in the years following from The Philosopher's Stone...

We became Harry Potter obsessed.

In 2001, Warner Brothers swooped in on the book series...

Many say that the 8 movies were the true start of the world's obsession with Harry Potter.
via: IMDBThe wizardry and witchcraft mania that was induced by the books was only exaggerated after the release of the on-screen adaptations which, collectively, grossed around $6.5 billion in total.
The final chapter of the Harry Potter franchise, The Deathly Hallows, was released back in 2007...

Since the end of the series, the author has embarked upon a handful of sequel projects...

But ever since the effects of that died down, we've been looking for a new Harry Potter fix.
And we've just got it.
Of course, everyone's very excited about the news.
The world's biggest Potter-themed store is opening its doors this year.
The 3- floor, 21,000 square foot building will be home to the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products all in one place for fans to shop.
Karl Durrant, VP and General Manager of Warner Bros. Retail Destinations told Entertainment Weekly this:
"It's been a really tough period in people's lives and by opening the Harry Potter store in the heart of New York City, we're looking forward to bringing some magic back into people's lives."
"We at Warner Bros. are in a very uniquely privileged position to work directly with the filmmakers," he said. "Thanks to this collaboration, we're bringing authentic props that come directly from the films and also authentic recreations."
He even went into the little details...
"From the Harry Potter films, you'll be able to find Harry's authentic wand on display, as well as Ron's, Hermoine's, and Dumbledore's wands. We have the original Golden Snitch, Harry's broomstick, Tom Riddle's diary with a basilisk's fang in the middle of it, and many other items."
And not only that, but he also revealed that there are other wizarding projects in the pipeline.
"We have 2 virtual reality experiences will be able to reveal more about soon," he told the outlet. "One will take you on a journey around Hogwarts called 'Chaos at Hogwarts' and another that will put you on a broomstick where you can fly over the River Thames in London called 'Wizards Take Flight.'"
Most of the products sold by the New York store will be exclusive to the flagship, but you can purchase a few of them online via their official website.
