Haunted Bathroom

Haunted Halloween Bathroom Must Haves

It’s that time of year again — the spooky season is upon us. For me, it’s an excuse to get out all of my favorite decorations and turn my house into the coolest and friendliest haunted house you’ve ever seen. I decorate outside, inside, in the kitchen, in the bedroom, and even in the bathrooms! I change up the hand towels, the soap dispensers, the bath mats, even the towel rack!

If you’re like me and you go a little decoration crazy, you know how hard it can be to find high-quality spooky bathroom decor. Not many people think of the bathroom as a fun place to decorate, but that’s their loss — we know the truth. The bathroom is such an easy place to add some flair and it’s a place that everyone who comes to your house is going to visit at some point. Even better if you’re having a Halloween party!

Just In Case They Pee a Little

  via Amazon

Some of us pee a little bit anytime we’re scared — no judgment, any mom knows what I’m talking about — and if that happens due to the sheer spookiness of your bathroom, you’ve got your guests covered with this toilet paper holder. Who doesn’t love a good skull motif?

Offer Your Guests a Hand

  via Amazon

Get it? Cause they’re hand towels? I thought it was funny, and that’s what counts. And your guests will think it’s funny, and probably a little spooky, too. A great accessory because it’s not too scary that kiddos will get spooked and it’s an easy way to add some seasonal flair.

Dirty Hands are the Scariest

  via Amazon

Germs are the scariest thing of all, and hand soap is a pretty great way to combat that. Use these awesome Halloween-themed soap dispensers to add some Halloween to your bathroom and keep the scary germs right where they belong — down the drain and away from all your guests.

The Ultimate Bathroom Set

  via Amazon

This spooky set has all you need to turn your bathroom into a spooky paradise! A shower curtain, a bath mat, and a toilet seat cover all come with this so you can get your bathroom looking spooktacular with minimal effort, and minimal cost to your wallet — always a plus.

Style Your Shower

  via Amazon

One of the last places you think to add flair is your shower curtain hooks, but this set shows just how easy it is! A set of fun and Halloween-themed creatures that will hang from your shower right along with your terrific curtain. Awesome addition for a kid’s bathroom.

Give Your Guests a Fright

  via Amazon

This shower curtain is pretty frightening, but it’s also pretty cool! An awesome, and easy, way to spookify your bathroom. You always need a shower curtain, might as well make it a themed one. This is sure to get any visitors to your bathroom spooked but in the best way.

Everything Should Be Themed

  via Amazon

If you really like to lean into a theme, this Poo-Pourri spray is your new best friend. There’s nothing scarier than walking into the bathroom after someone that’s been in there for a while, but this spray makes that fear a thing of the past and keeps your bathroom on theme.

Get Ready for the Day of the Dead

  via Amazon

If you celebrate la Dia de Los Muertos, this set is a must-have! Honestly, though, it’s an awesome option even if you’re just really into sugar skulls. You’ve got everything you need for a bathroom — trash can, soap dish, soap dispenser, toothbrush cup, and toilet brush — and it’s all on-theme.

Add Some Ambient Lighting

  via Amazon

Ambient lighting is perfect for a bathroom — it can stay on even when the light is off and it adds a spooky look to the room right before your guests flick on the light. Then, if it’s this awesome little tree, it just adds something cool they can look at while they wash their hands.

Spooky But Cute

  via Amazon

The only thing I love more than spooky is cute and this ghostie night light checks both of those boxes. If your kiddos want their bathroom themed, too, this light makes an awesome ambient lighting choice for them. It’s not too spooky, but it still gives them that Halloween feeling.

Keep Your Makeup Buried

  via Amazon

Or not. This coffin-shaped makeup organizing shelf keeps all your makeup right where you want it but still in the Halloween spirit. It’s a cute way to make your everyday things seem like they fit right into the theme of the seasonal bathroom. And it’s so good you might just want to keep it year-round.

Scare the Crap Out of Your Guests

  via Amazon

These decals are downright terrifying! I don’t think I could have them in my bathroom — they would frighten my kiddos and my cats — but I think it’s a funny and cool option for a good Halloween night fright. Easy to stick down and peel up so you can use and reuse them every year.

Bring on the Autumnal Vibes

  via Amazon

Halloween doesn’t just have to be spooky (though that’s the best part, IMHO). Halloween also means autumn and cool mornings and pumpkin spice and fall leaves and delicious smells, like this autumnal potpourri. Just make sure it’s up and out of the way of curious pups, cats, and even kiddos.

Embrace the Humor

  via Amazon

This poster is sure to get some great laughs from any guest that sees it. It’s a little raunchy, but that’s the best kind of humor. If you’ve got really littles, this is great for any bathroom. Also, a great option if you’re rocking the kid-free life or the grown-up kid life.

Who Doesn’t Need More Jars?

  via Amazon

I can never get enough jars! My husband would beg to differ, but that’s okay — he can be wrong. These little apothecary jars are just the right touch for completing a themed bathroom. They lend a witchy air to the space and double as an awesome place to store q-tips, braces bands, hair ties, or bobby pins.

An Ominous Warning

  via Amazon

This sign is a little ominous, but it’s still pretty cool! You’re sure to shock and amuse your guests at your Halloween bash this year. And if you’re really into the spirit, you can keep it up year-round for a little touch of the spooky season whenever you see it.

There Are a Few Rules

  via Amazon

Every house has rules, and there should definitely be a few rules for the bathroom. This is a pretty great rule that I think everyone should have in their bathroom. Demons just don’t belong in there, frankly, and there’s not nearly enough space for summoning. Definitely a sign to amuse your teenage daughter.

Embrace the Fall

  via Amazon

This bathroom set is a little more laid back, but it’s still perfect for the spooky season. Pumpkins scream Halloween and this set is covered in them. A great option if you’re into the season, but not the scares. And a particularly great option for a kiddo’s bathroom if they’re not into the spooky.

Spooky Shelves

  via Amazon

Did you know that even shelves can be spooky? I didn’t until I saw these amazing shelves. I’m pretty obsessed and might have ordered too many. They’re going up all over the house, but they’re especially great for my tiny guest bathroom — it could always use more storage space!

Got a Head Cold?

  via Amazon

This is probably the coolest tissue box cover I’ve ever seen. It’s especially cool if you’ve got a head cold. You know? Because it’s a head. And the tissues come right out of the top. I love a good pun. It also lends a pretty cool and spooky air to your bathroom.
