But as Trump offers more and more poor medical advice during the coronavirus pandemic, she might have excelled herself.

The deadly coronavirus, or COVID-19, has taken our planet hostage, and is showing no signs of letting go anytime soon.

What exactly is COVID-19, and just how dangerous is it?

According to the World Health Organization, COVID-19 is a new strain of coronaviruses that had not been previously been identified in humans.

The virus primarily affects the respiratory system.

And common symptoms include fever, coughing, shortness of breath, and breathing difficulties.

But, in more severe cases...

And in patients who are elderly and have existing health issues, the virus can lead to pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.

It's a dire situation.

And many have been asking the same thing - Where did this virus actually come from?

Well, the virus is believed to have originated in Wuhan, China.

On December 31st, 2019, China alerted the World Health Organization of several flu-like cases in Wuhan.

And where did it come from?

Many different theories have been proposed, but it is now widely believed to have originated from the sale of meat from wild animals, especially bats, where the virus has been discovered in the past.

And, despite infected people being quarantined...

The virus was alarmingly quick to spread, with cases being reported as far away as Thailand just one week later.

It only took a month for the World Health Organization to declare a global emergency...

Which was done in an attempt to combat the virus and enable countries to put in strict measures to prevent any further spread.

But these attempts were to little avail.

Because, fast forward 3 months, and nearly every major country in the world has been infected by the virus, with some of the worst affected being Japan, South Korea, Russia, Italy, Iran, and Spain.

World leaders have been left with little choice but to bring their countries to a total stand-still...

And many have banned large and crowded events, and any travel to and from infected countries.

And it didn't take long for the virus to reach us here in the States.

Our first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Washington in late January after a citizen returned from a trip to China.

And, since then, the numbers have been rising at a frightening pace.

Since the first COVID-19 patient in Washington, there have been 43,449 more confirmed cases across the country and 545 deaths.

Several cities have declared states of emergencies...

And, last week, President Trump declared a national emergency to combat the coronavirus pandemic, freeing up $50 billion in federal funding and promising a screening website and drive-by tests.

This was the President's first smart move.

Because, up until then, he had been worryingly relaxed about the whole situation.

Instead of addressing the crisis and taking action like other world leaders...

Trump has been resorting to his usual tactics, such as blaming the panic on the "Fake News Media".

And at one point, he even compared the pandemic to the common flu.

And suggested that, because nowhere closed down over the flu, nowhere should close over the coronavirus.

Trump's downplaying of the situation hasn't only been embarrassing...

But it's been a severe endangerment to the lives of millions of people all over the country. So many Americans are still being denied the right to health care during this daunting time - Something seriously needs to change.

However, he has proposed a new way of containing the outbreak...

Today, Trump has stated that a common malaria drug, that doctors say may help treat coronavirus, will be distributed across New York tomorrow morning. The FDA has approved the drug, named Chloroquine, to treat the virus.

But, just hours after the announcement...

News has broken that, while attempting to treat coronavirus,  an Arizona man in his sixties has died after self-medicating with a different version of the drug - chloroquine phosphate. Chloroquine Phosphate is used to clean fish tanks.

Within thirty minutes of taking chloroquine phosphate, the man experienced “immediate effects."

He was then admitted to a nearby Banner Health hospital, where he died. "Given the uncertainty around COVID-19, we understand that people are trying to find new ways to prevent or treat this virus, but self-medicating is not the way to do so," Dr. Daniel Brooks of Banner Health, said in a statement. "The last thing that we want right now is to inundate our emergency departments with patients who believe they found a vague and risky solution that could potentially jeopardize their health."

The man's wife also ingested the drug.

She is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

And Hillary took to Twitter with an absolutely incredible response.

Honestly, she's not wrong.

Yeah, we wouldn't trust this guy, either.
