Honey Boo Boo has finally opened up about her relationship with boyfriend Dralin Carswell.
The reality TV star has recently dished out her opinion on her relationship with her boyfriend….
And she’s shut down all the trolls.

Alana Thompson, best known as Honey Boo Boo, shot to fame when she was just 5-years-old.
Thompson, alongside her family, starred in the series, Toddlers & Tiaras.
Thompson and her mom, June Shannon, were an instant hit with viewers.
And as result, the family went on to have their own reality TV series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, though it was later canceled due to controversy.
In 2018, Thompson went on to star in Dancing with the Stars: Juniors where she made it to the fourth week.
However, since then, Thompson has shied away from television shows and instead now keeps fans updated with her life on Instagram.
Including where she shared the news of her boyfriend…
Thompson, now sixteen, is currently dating Dralin Carswell, aged twenty.
And people aren’t happy about the age gap…
“20 year olds should not be dating high school students, regardless of what the law says,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“This child is with a 20 yo man???” said another.
Another tweeted: “So a 20-year-old has been dating a 16-year-old, who only turned 16 exactly one fucking month ago, for 6 months…”
“He’s too old for her what the hell!!!” someone else tweeted.
But despite other people’s problems with the age gap, Thompson’s mom, June Shannon, came out to defend her daughter’s relationship.
Speaking with TooFab, Shannon said that people need to realize that Thompson has “grown up.”
When the outlet asked Shannon whether she had met Carswell, she confirmed that she had.
“Yes, I’ve met Dralin,” she said. “They’ve been together for over a year. People need to realize that she’s going to be 17 in August and that [Alana’s older sister] Pumpkin and Josh were the same age as they were.”
Shannon went on to say that Thompson is receiving a lot of “hate” about her relationship.
Shannon claimed it was because Thompson is in “an interracial relationship” and because “he is older.”
“She is getting a lot of hate because she’s in an interracial relationship, he is older, but at the end of the day, Alana’s not that 6-7-year-old child y’all fell in love with 11 years ago,” she told the outlet.
“Alana has grown up, she’s graduating high school next year, guys!”
This year in January, Pumpkin, Alana’s twenty-two-year-old sister won a custody battle against Mama June.
As reported by Hollywood Life, the mom has to pay $800 a month of child support.
The mom no longer has full custody over her daughter as a Georgia Judge awarded Pumpkin custody over the sixteen-year-old, instead.
According to court documents, June will have to go through Pumpkin in order to see Alana as a result of her being a minor.
But why has she lost custody of her daughter?
Well, in 2019, June Shannon, and her then-boyfriend were arrested for drug possession charges, as per the news outlet.
Alana has been living with Pumpkin for 3 years, since the arrest, and will continue to do so now that Pumpkin, who has 4 children, has won the custody battle against her mother.
In a document obtained by the news outlet, it stated that it’s in the “best interest” that Pumpkin has guardianship over the sixteen-year-old.
“The plaintiff has had guardianship of the minor child since April 29, 2019. It is in the best interest of the minor child that the plaintiff is awarded sole custody,” it said.
The document also states that June’s monthly income is “$25,000,” but states it is not a certain income.
“Her only certain income is disability in the amount of $1015.00 per month,” it continued.
Although June has now lost custody of her daughter, she has been doing better.
She’s now married to Justin Stroud, who she met on TikTok, and has been doing really well in her new relationship with him. She’s also 2 years sober!
And now in recent events, Alana has been spotted flashing a big diamond ring on a certain finger…
Posing for a photo shoot to introduce Pumpkin’s new twin babies to their fans, people noticed that she was wearing the rock on her ring finger.
This left many speculating whether Dralin had popped the question to Alana…
But Page Six reports that the ring is “just a ring” adding it “isn’t a sign that Alana and Dralin are ready to take the next step with their relationship.”
But with reports of Alana starting this new chapter, the star has denied the engagement rumors altogether…
According to the Daily Mail, Alana’s representative said the star was “not betrothed” and it was just a new accessory she has been flaunting.
And now the teen star is undergoing some drastic changes to her regime.
According to TMZ, Alana is “worried the weight she’s put on is genetic.”
And so she wanted to get rid of it as fast as possible.
Alana’s manager, Gina Rodriguez, spilled the beans…
And revealed some details about how the change may take place.
Gina told reporters Alana will be “heading to NYC” in late August for a life-changing procedure…
And it’s reportedly to do with a life-changing surgery that will happen just after her 17th birthday.
Boyfriend Dralin Carswell will also be supporting his girlfriend by getting “the same procedure” for himself too, as it was reported the couple “wanted to do together.”
Weight loss doctor Steven Batash revealed that Alana will be getting the procedure done to help her weight loss journey.
He also told the news outlet that “she’s currently 275 pounds, and wants to get down to 150.”
“She’s trying her best to live a healthier life — trying diets and increasing her exercise over the past year, but hasn’t gotten the results she hoped she would,” he revealed.
And Alana has got support from her sister Pumpkin, too.
Who has “signed off on Alana” getting the procedure.
The known procedure is known as a “suture sculpt endoscopic sleeve,” which reportedly shrinks the stomach.
And now Alana has opened up about something close to her heart…
The child star has received backlash after she posted a picture of a ring and her boyfriend on social media.
But the Toddlers & Tiaras alum admitted that she is not concerned about the trolling she has received because of the “age gap” between them.
And even said, “I don’t care.”
She went on further to discuss the “two most important” things everybody is talking about…
“In our relationship, the two most things that everybody is always talking about is our age gap and definitely because he’s Black and I’m white and we’re an interracial couple,” she said.
But despite the age gap, with Alana being sixteen and Dralin twenty-one, they are “always talking” and there’s never any awkwardness…
“It’s never like an awkward moment, silence or none of that,” Alana continued.
“Because, like, at the end of the day, my sister approves, his mom approves, and we’re happy, so what fans got to say or what haters got to say I don’t really care,” she said.
“She’s not getting married, she’s not having a kid, she’s doing very good in school,” said Pumpkin, adding that the pair are “on the same wavelength.”
