Hey Thrones fans, hold onto your dragons!

HBO just spilled the beans at the CCXP convention in Brazil, treating us to a sneak peek of House of the Dragon Season 2
And guess what? It’s dropping next summer! 🐉

Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, aka Eve Best, kicks things off with a bone-chilling nugget:

“There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin — and no war so bloody as a war between dragons.”
Talk about setting the stage for some serious dragon drama!
But that’s not all – HBO unleashed the cast lineup, and it’s a doozy.

Jamie Kenna (Children of Men)

is our Ser Alfred Broome, and there’s more where that came from
Kieran Bew (Beowulf)

Vincent Regan (300 Movie)

… and many many more. Now, onto the juicy stuff.
The trailer spills the tea on the aftermath of the heart-wrenching Season 1 finale.

We’re talking the death of Lucerys Velaryon (played by Elliot Grihault) during a dragonback showdown with Ewan Mitchell’s Aemond Targaryen.

Cue the waterworks and grab the tissues because Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) is bringing the feels, mourning the loss of her kiddo.
But wait, there’s more!

The trailer gives us a peek at Rhaenyra’s somber gaze at Dragonstone castle, and Prince Daemon (Matt Smith) is geared up for revenge in his wartime armor. The drama is real, folks!

House of the Dragon Season 2 is diving deep into the Dance of the Dragons, and it’s gonna be a wild ride.
Get ready for a brutal clash that will leave Westeros shook!
