The tragic news comes after it was announced that Tumlin had passed away on March 23rd.

He was only twenty-eight-years-old.

Of course, the news was devastating for fans to hear as tributes poured in for the young actor.

Now, you may all know Tumlin from his roles on the big screen.

Born December 27th, 1992 in Alabama, USA, Tumlin secured his first major role pretty early on when he played Walker Bobby in Talladega Nights.

He starred alongside veterans in the industry like Will Ferrell.

But as an adult, he gave up acting and joined the US Army's 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Upon hearing about his tragic death, friends who have worked alongside him also paid tribute on social media.

@PrideTilliDie wrote this: "[It] Was truly an honor to work with you doing missions as your soldier along with other great NCOs in South Korea Camp Humphreys. One of the funniest people I ever got to know. Great vibes, life of the party, always happy. I'm in shock. We'll miss you brother. RIP Houston Tumlin."

That was only one of the many tributes his friends posted.

It was clear this young man was truly loved.

It has been reported that the actor died in his home.

His girlfriend was also present at the time, when his body was discovered at approximately 4:30 PM on Tuesday.

According to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans, who confirmed the information to TMZ, his death was ruled a suicide.

There were no notes or clues left at the scene but it has been speculated that the former child actor was experiencing some mental health issues.

Now, people are speaking out to raise awareness about male suicide rates.

According to Save.org, males are 4x likely to commit suicide compared to women and in the US alone, male deaths represent 79% of all suicides.

Overall approximately 123 Americans die by the method each day which, across the year, amounts up to 48,300.

This is a serious problem that needs addressing and combatting.
