A woman was recently arrested at an Ohio McDonald's restaurant after her drink request turned violent very quickly...
A customer captured the incident at the Ravenna, Ohio McDonald's where she asked for a mix of 3 different slushie flavors.
"I heard her ask for slushies with all three flavors mixed into one," witness Brian Allen said to WOIO, "Whereupon the manager informed her that they could not do that, and she became increasingly irritated and combative and decided that she would go behind the counter and fix her own drink."
"I was concerned that she may start hurting somebody. So, I started recording in case law enforcement needed the tape for any kind of evidence of the assault."
Well, he clearly had the right idea!
The video has since been viewed over 1 million times, showing the woman in question forcing her way behind the counter and going on to both verbally and physically attack the staff members.
"Get out! Are you crazy? Don't touch me! I'll destroy you!" an employee warns as the woman responds "Call the f****** police!"
"Don't touch my manager!" the employee says. "I don't know what's going on with you."
The question seems to calm the woman for a split second. "Sorry... I've been up all day," she apologizes. "Sorry," but after a few seconds, the woman erupts again and rips off one of the staff member's face masks in a fit of rage.
After she finally turns to leave, the employee informs the woman they have her on camera and that she could go to prison for her actions...
Which results in the woman attacking the employee again, who in turn throws her to the ground and punches her in the head repeatedly. When the police arrive, she continues to swing punches at the manager, right in front of the officer, who proceeds to handcuff the woman.
The woman was later identified as Cherysse Helena Cleveland. She was charged with misdemeanor assault and has a $1,000 bond for her release.
Allen, who filmed the whole encounter, praised the McDonald's staff for the way they dealt with her...
"If I was in their shoes, I wouldn't have been able to show the restraint they did. You can see from the video that several times, not just once, she physically assaults and or pushes them. And they don't do anything except to try to protect themselves. And you can clearly hear the one employee trying to protect her boss as well. I think they both did outstanding jobs," he said.
"I don't see anybody having to take abuse like that. I think the lesson is just to treat people the way that we want to be treated, and I don't see that a lot in the world anymore."
Well, we hope the woman responsible for such vile behavior learns a serious lesson from this gristly incident.
