It doesn't take a genius to see that Donald Trump isn't handling his election loss all too well, and his favorite social media platform, Twitter, could potentially make that loss a whole lot worse...
It's been a rough week for Donald Trump.
via: GettyAs you will all be aware by now, the president suffered a colossal loss to his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden, for this year's presidential elections.
Of course, Trump has been doing everything in his power to challenge the result...
via: GettyBut has faced a whole lot of ridicule as a result.
And now, Twitter has accidentally added to that ridicule.
via: ShutterstockSocial media users have been left very amused today after discovering an unfortunate feature in their search tool. Trump will not be happy with this one...
Now, this year's presidential election has been perhaps the most anticipated in decades.
via: GettyAnd, as Trump and Biden went head-to-head, a record number of Americans made sure to get their votes in early.
However, it brought with it a lengthy counting process.
via: GettyAs a result of the increased numbers of mail-in ballots this year, Americans far and wide were left waiting in anticipation for days for any form of result or conclusion.
Though polls across the country closed on Tuesday, November 3rd...
via: GettyIt took days for a result to be announced. As the days trickled by, each State gradually announced their winning candidate and, throughout those tense couple of days, the numbers remained painfully close between President Trump and former vice president, Joe Biden.
Trump was clearly feeling the heat...
via: GettyAnd, as the counts went underway, he tried to temporarily stop vote-counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, States where Joe Biden was projected to win.
He also called for a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania...
via: GettyAnd then went on to threaten legal action against any State wherein Biden had won.
Though a Biden campaign lawyer brushed off the threats as "meritless."
via: Getty“I want to emphasize that for their purposes these lawsuits don’t have to have merit. That’s not the purpose. ... It is to create an opportunity for them to message falsely about what’s taking place in the electoral process," lawyer, Bob Bauer said, accusing the Trump campaign of “continually alleging irregularities, failures of the system and fraud without any basis."
But, regardless of his many threats, the result were in after 4 long days of ballot counting.
via: GettyThe Associated Press called the race for Biden when Pennsylvania's twenty electoral votes put him over the 270-vote threshold needed to win the Electoral College.
Shortly after his victory, Biden Tweeted this:
America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I p… https://t.co/iUORklENs0— Joe Biden (@Joe Biden)1604767962.0
Democrats all over the country have been rejoicing at the news of Biden's historic win...
We just learned that Joe Biden has been elected 46th President of the United States, New York can’t stop cheering.… https://t.co/8mPwgcn0tx— Quentin A. Alexandre (@Quentin A. Alexandre)1604767345.0
However, there's someone who isn't in the mood for celebrating...
via: GettyAnd that's President Trump, of course.
Now, Trump's reaction to Biden's win has been nothing short of outrageous.
via: GettyThough the president is a historically sore loser - he's very rarely had to admit defeat ever in his life - and has long made wild accusations against the Biden campaign team, people simply cannot believe his refusal to accept what has happened.
His first response to Biden's win was to release a lengthy and damning statement...In which he accused Biden and his team of rigging the entire election. As per Sky News, the statement read: “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. “The simple fact is this election is far from over. Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor. “In Pennsylvania, for example, our legal observers were not permitted meaningful access to watch the counting process. Legal votes decide who is president, not the news media."
The statement then went on to explain how legal proceedings will begin immediately. It continued: “Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated. “The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election. “It remains shocking that the Biden campaign refuses to agree with this basic principle and wants ballots counted even if they are fraudulent, manufactured, or cast by ineligible or deceased voters. Only a party engaged in wrongdoing would unlawfully keep observers out of the count room - and then fight in court to block their access. “So what is Biden hiding? I will not rest until the American People have the honest vote count they deserve and that Democracy demands."
And the frenzied Twitter rants were quick to follow. In his rage, Trump took to the social media platform to dispute the result further, insisting that he was the one to have won.
He tried to take some small victory from the situation...And proudly Tweeted that he received a record-breaking number of votes. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Don.
However, more damning accusations were quick to follow...Trump seems set on the idea that Biden and his team rigged the entire election to play out in their favor, and made strong hints that something happened in the counting rooms that had "never happened before."
Did someone say sore loser?

Twitter's search results are produced from patterns of what people are tweeting...
via: ShutterstockSo, when you search "loser" in the search bar, as a result of his new nickname, Trump's official Twitter account appears as the top result.
Don't believe me?
via: TwitterWell, take a look at the evidence above. While other accounts with the word "loser" in their name still appear, the Donald J. Trump account reigns supreme at the top of the list.
