For years now, there have been rumors and speculations of a new actor playing the iconic role of Indiana Jones... But now, they have been firmly put to bed.
The producer of Indiana Jones 5 has this week promised that there is only one Indiana Jones, and it's our favorite man...
For a lot of actors, there's no greater career accomplishment than creating a truly iconic character...
The character that everyone remembers.Like Joey Tribbiani, for instance.
A truly iconic Friends character. And there's no one else that could play Joey other than Matt LeBlanc, right?
We wouldn't dare to think of the outrage if they rebooted Friends with someone else cast as Joey! And the same goes for the role of Indiana Jones.
There's only one Indiana Jones...Harrison Ford.
He's been there from the start of the films, and we want him there until the end.Ford's first appearance as Indy was in the 1981 debut, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
He was just thirty-eight-years-old at the time.Ford has since returned to the role 3 more times for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and, most recently, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

He has won many awards for his work, including the first-ever Hero Award at the 2007 Scream Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That is, of course, additional to his many BAFTAs and Golden Globes.

However, despite his success, fans have recently grown worried that he may not reprise his iconic role of Indy. But, fortunately for us, it doesn't seem that we will have to even think about an Indy replacement...

Because even Harrison Ford himself doesn't want that to happen.
