Why do people decide to name their kids the weirdest of things? Well, no one does it better than celebrities... except for maybe influencers.

This story (about 2 influencers who both chose to name their baby "Baby") has got the whole internet talking...

Now, there's nothing quite like having a baby!

But becoming a parent means one huge decision - choosing your child's name, of course.

It's a big responsibility...

And every parent knows that feeling of dithering over the perfect name.

Whether to go for something traditional ...

Or to think outside the box... it's unbelievably difficult!

If you're aiming for something unique, you probably want it to be just that...

But unfortunately, 2 influencers had the same unique idea - and they weren't happy with each other.

Of course, there's a whole host of crazy names out there...

As 2 influencers opted for the same bizarre choice.

Jessica Hart, an Australian model, welcomed her first child in November.

A daughter she named Baby.

But there was just one problem.

Jessica's friend, Sasha Benz (who is also an influencer), welcomed a child called Baybi just 3 years earlier.

"I first heard it in the movie Dirty Dancing and always thought I’d love to name my daughter Baby."

"I was hesitant to ask James [her partner] about it at first but we just weren’t landing on a name. Finally, probably a month before she was born, I said what about Baby, and he said, 'Oh my gosh, I love it.' It’s felt right ever since," Jessica explained.

But Sasha saw things differently.

"Sasha was devastated that her close friend would copy her daughter's 'unique' name, especially after she'd gone to her for name ideas," a friend told the Sydney Morning Herald.

Although apparently, the pair have since talked it out and all is forgiven.

"Of course Jess and I are still friends. We chatted it out a few weeks back, and I am happy she has a name she loves for her beautiful girl," Sasha explained. Phew! For more baby controversy, scroll on for the labor story from hell...
