Insiders 'Extremely Worried' About Ryan Seacrest's Health After Viewers Thought He Had a Stroke Live on TV | 22 Words

Fans have been left feeling very concerned for TV host Ryan Seacrest after his "worrying" appearance on the American Idol finale, and now, it turns out that TV insiders are worried too...

 Let's recap a few things first.

Ryan Seacrest is known and loved for being a very popular radio and TV personality here in America...

And the Georgia-born personality has made quite a name for himself.

It all started in 1993...

Seacrest hosted the first season of ESPN's Radical Outdoor Challenge. He also hosted three kids' game shows, Gladiators 2000 from 1994 to 1996 (a spinoff of the television show, American Gladiators), Wild Animal Games in 1995, and Click in 1997.

It wasn't until 2002 when Seacrest's big break came along...

 He accepted the position as co-host of the then-new Fox reality television series American Idol with comedian Brian Dunkleman.

The show increased in popularity very quickly...

 And this gained Seacrest a global fan base, rocketing him to fame.

Not only is Seacrest a TV host...

He is also a producer, producing the likes of ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in 2005, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and numerous shows for E!.

He has also hosted the popular radio show, American Top 40.

What can't this guy do?

Seacrest is a solid fan-favorite...

 But in more recent times, fans have expressed some serious concern for the famed host.

 And he's known for rarely taking a day off... which may have finally caught up to him.

It all started 2 weeks ago during the American Idol finale episode.

Fans pointed out that Seacrest didn't look quite like his usual chirpy self.

While broadcasting from his Los Angeles home, Seacrest seemed to be struggling to get his words out...

 And his right eye was noticeably drooping.

He even seemed a little bit confused...

 And looked very out of character.

At first, many fans thought the host was either drunk or high...

But this was soon (and very quickly) shut down as an explanation for his unusual behavior.

Fans began suggesting a migraine or a stroke...

Which would perhaps explain the slurred speech and drooped eye?

And it turns out that insiders are equally as worried for Seacrest as his fans are.

 When he took an unscheduled leave from co-hosting Live with Kelly Ripa on May 18 - which was just hours after his American Idol appearance - there was cause for alarm at the show’s network.

It appears that Seacrest was burning himself out...

"It was a last-minute thing and there was a sense of panic at ABC when we were told that Ryan couldn’t make it that morning," an ABC source ­revealed to media. "There are people at the network who are extremely worried that he is overdoing it."

Hearing this, fans became even more worried...

 And this is when Seacrest's rep decided to step in. "Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night," a rep for Seacrest told CNN in an email statement. "Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home."

His rep said he was just "in need of rest" and "took a well-deserved day off."

Let's face it, we all need some time off every now and then... especially if you work in Hollywood!
