Upon seeing hundreds of negative comments flowing in, she had no choice but to address all the haters on her IG Story.

Now, Candace has spent over thirty years in the vicious world of show business...

So you'd expect that she'd be used to this kind of social media drama.

And to top it all off, the forty-four-year-old is a mom of 3.

Evidently, she's no stranger to balancing multiple projects at once!

She has also explored other avenues, such as writing.

She released her first book in 2011: Reshaping It All, where she opened up about her struggle with food due to “expectations of Hollywood."

Thankfully, she now has a better relationship with food which she thanks her faith for.

Candace’s openness made her book a New York Times best-seller, with many praising her transparency.

Since opening up about her family life, and letting millions into her struggles and accomplishments over the years...

Fans have got ever more involved with her personal life.

Meaning she's been the subject to her fair share of criticism over the years.

Which comes with the territory of being in the public eye...

Candace isn't afraid of sharing a little PDA on social media.

In an older video shared to her Instagram, she squeals: "Best birthday ever," as her husband gave her a kiss.

And who could ever forget about this "controversial" photograph?

The controversy surrounding the photo is still ongoing, with some devout Christians attacking the social media mom for posting such "obscene" photos online.

But her latest controversy is less about her photos and more about who she follows on Instagram...

Facebook

Bure has nearly 5 million followers on Instagram, and some of them have mixed views on who she follows...

On Thursday, the star took to her Instagram Story to address the backlash...

She follows a wide range of people, including; President Joe Biden, Melania Trump, Kamala Harris, Candace Owens, both Barack and Michelle Obama and The Blaze, as well as celebs such as Kim Kardashian and Whoopi Goldberg.

And she's hit back at the negative comments...

"I read several comments from people, and I think there's quite a bit of new followers, so thank you if you're still around for following me here. People that were disappointed or told me that they were unfollowing me because of the people I choose to follow on Instagram," she said. "And it's always strange to me because I follow a very broad range of people, politically, within my work industry and then personal friends and things I like."

She continued...

"But a follow does not mean an endorsement. A follow does not mean I agree with everything they say and do," she continued. "It just means I follow a broad range of people so that I have perspective. I want to know what's going on in the world, I want to hear different sides of the argument."

She made it clear she doesn't "necessarily agree with or act the same way" as they do, but enjoys hearing "what our society, what culture is dishing out."

"That helps me know all the more who I am, find my answers and know the truth and be prepared with those answers," she continued. "So please remember that follows on Instagram or Twitter do not equal endorsements. You don't have to agree with everyone you follow, I choose to follow people who think like me and not like me. And I think that is really the healthiest perspective."

She follows people from both political sides as the difference in opinions "doesn't make my blood boil."

"I don't get angry at it. So maybe it's healthy for some of you not to follow people you disagree with," she added. "But it doesn't upset me -- it just gives me perspective."

What do you think?
