Michel Faro do Prado, from São Paulo, Brazil, who is also known as "Diablo Praddo" on social media, is on a journey to transform himself into a "Human Satan." Yep, you read that correctly!

He has amassed over 60,000 followers on Instagram and is truly a sight unearthed from your darkest nightmares.

The forty-four-year-old has been a tattoo artist for twenty-five years and has transformed his own body along the way. He recently shared a photo of what he looked like before all the surgery and his fans were astonished at how truly unrecognizable he was.

The photo is of an obviously younger individual with a cheeky grin looking completely different from the black-eyed, horned, beast he is known as today.

As well as covering his whole body in ink, Michel has undergone a series of procedures to make himself appear otherworldly, including most recently inserting silver tusks in his mouth. However, you will be surprised to know that's not the most extreme of his body modifications.

On Instagram, Michel revealed he has his ring finger removed from one of his hands. In another photo (which isn't for the squeamish) father and husband Michel can be seen holding his own bloody, severed finger in his hand.

The body mod enthusiast went even further, claiming to be the third person ever to have the end of his nose removed. His latest procedure - the curved metal tusks - sticks out from either side of his mouth. Michel claims they may look expensive but only cost him about 5000 Brazilian real ($1,094). His other modifications include 4 horns that stick out each side of his head and several implants under the skin on his forehead.

His entire body is tattooed, including his eyeballs.

It was his wife, who specializes in body modifications, who has helped him achieve his outlandish look over the years. Speaking about his journey, Michel said: "I have been a tattoo artist for twenty-five years, most of my tattoos I get from tattoo artists and professionals who I have paid.

"I focus on blackwork and brutal tattoos, which are types of tattoos where you ink a large part of your body. But my wife has specialized in the area of modifications and the idea is for me to become her masterpiece when it comes to tattooing!"

Although some of Michel's procedures look like they were incredibly painful to endure, he claims he doesn't mind going through it and he has a "high pain tolerance."

He explained: "Actually I have good resistance to pain, I don't think anything is so painful, I suffer a lot more in the post-procedures than at the time. And the truth is that there are changes that without anesthesia would be almost impossible to be done, I would love not to feel any pain.

"But if I have to feel pain, to achieve what I want, for sure I will face it!"
