But some of the most disturbing shots were that of Richard Barnett, the man who hijacked Nancy Pelosi's office.
Barnett quickly went viral after photos showed him sitting in her chair with his feet up on her desk.
And sadly, his vile actions didn't end there.
Barnett went on to rummage through Pelosi's private files, and even managed to steal a letter addressed to the Speaker.
Here's all the evidence you need...
Bennett seemed to be proud of his actions, and didn't make any effort to hide his face from the cameras.
There was even a video of him telling people that he had left a "surprise" for Pelosi on her desk after storming the Capitol:

Clearly, he had no shame whatsoever.
But this footage only made it easier for the FBI...
Because just a few days after the storming of the Capitol took place, Barnett was swiftly arrested.
He is currently facing a number of serious charges including:

Entering and remaining on restricted grounds, violent entry and theft of public property, and to have allegedly been in possession of a stun gun during the deadly riots.
Fast forward 6 weeks and Barnett still remains behind bars as he awaits trial...
But at a virtual court hearing yesterday, tensions reached a breaking point.
From the moment he was taken into custody, he has waged an ongoing effort to be freed on bond...
I spent A TON of time in federal prison. And I never met or even heard of a bigger crybaby than Richard Barnett.— FakeJoeBiden (@fake_biden) March 5, 2021
👨🏻🦳💬It’s not fair! Let me out! They run this place like a prison!
And yesterday, he loudly lost his patience with the process at a hearing in front of Judge Christopher Cooper of Federal District Court in Washington.
NBC 4's Scott MacFarlane was reporting live from the hearing when he tweeted this:

Upset he's been locked up "for a whole month"... "it's not fair"
Judge just recessed hearing for "5 mins" pic.twitter.com/ayaO4d6lb0
Appearing by video from jail, Barnett allegedly erupted into anger after Judge Cooper set the next court date in his case for a day in May, shouting that he did not want to remain behind bars for "another month."
"They're dragging this out!" he allegedly shouted. "They're letting everybody else out!"
Who’d have known this would be the most striking event near the Capitol on March 4? https://t.co/biVJ6Ys0UB— Scott MacFarlane (@MacFarlaneNews) March 4, 2021
After a brief recess to calm the defendant down, Judge Cooper resumed the hearing, saying he would consider a new motion for release if and when Barnett's lawyers filed one.
