Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey burst onto our screens in September 1994.

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman...

The comedy followed the friends, who live in the same New York apartment block, as they navigated through their mid-twenties.

Over the years, we became incredibly attached to these characters...

Who, in a way, became our own friends... It's corny, but it's true.

Though many of us still remain divided on one thing...

Ross and Rachel were not on a break. Period.

There were many iconic moments throughout the show's ten seasons.

Rachel's English trifle, Chandler's nubbin, the time Joey got a Thanksgiving turkey stuck on his head... The list could go on.

And it remains just as successful today.

Despite the show coming to an end in 2004, it stands as one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, and its fanbase is as strong as ever.

Over the years, the cast have been propelled to unprecedented levels of fame.

And none of us can quite see them in anything else.

The gang earned a lot of money during those 10 years...

Allegedly, the cast were each on an eye-watering $1 million salary per episode in the later seasons of the show - a history-breaking figure. So, many of us can't help but wonder... Why on earth isn't a comeback on the cards?

Over the years, there have been a few low-key reunions and a lot of false hope...

Apart from the occasional reunion on talk-shows, fans have had their fair share of disappointments when it comes to waiting for a Friends reunion.

A fake trailer for a Friends movie even went viral in 2018...

Giving superfans false hope that the sitcom was hitting the box office.

But, in 2018, Matt Leblanc said a Friends reunion would never go ahead.

The actor left fans heartbroken as he rejected calls for the show to return, saying the sitcom simply "wouldn't be the same" in an interview with the Mail Online.

He added:

"People want to know what happened to them. But it was about a finite period in a person’s life after college, before you settle down and start a family."

Lisa Kudrow also dismissed talks of a reunion...

While appearing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the actress said: "They're rebooting everything. I don't know how that works with Friends, though. That was about people in their twenties, thirties. The show isn't about people in their forties, fifties. And if we have the same problems, that's just sad."

And it isn't just the cast that has shut down calls for the sitcom to return...

The show's creator Marta Kauffman, says she constantly gets "nagged" by fans to bring the sitcom back.

She had some pretty harsh words for any hopeful fans out there...

"Watch the old ones - there is no way we could win that. And there's no way it would be satisfying and it'll never happen. We'll never do it," she said.

But, unbelievably...

Fans got the news they'd all been waiting for earlier this year.

The cast announced that reunion is officially happening.

Of course, many of us were skeptical at first, but this is really happening.

The "official" Friends reunion is scheduled to happen in August...

But it's probably not what you'd first expect.

Well, it will be unscripted and will essentially just be a catch-up between the cast and crew.

And by the sounds of things, it seems that some of the cast could really do with a reunion...

Because, recently, some of the actors have been coming forward with some pretty shocking claims.

Despite the show running for a decade, some cast members have admitted to not remembering much from that time in their lives.

Yep, despite earning a staggering amount of money for their roles in the show, some of the actors are having a hard time remembering their time on the set.

Courteney Cox was the first to come forward with her revelation.

Recently, the actress admitted that she has no memories from filming on the set of Friends.

Courteney credited this shocking revealtion to simply "having a bad memory"...

"I don’t remember even being on the show," the actress said. "I have such a bad memory. I remember obviously loving everybody there and having fun, and certain times in my life that I remember I was there for, but I don’t remember episodes."

Obviously, fans were completely shocked by her confession...

And now, 2 other members of the cast have come forward with the same revelation.

It turns out that Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston have the same problem...

And they also don't remember much of their Friends days. Keep scrolling to watch the clip...

Appearing together in a live-stream interview with Variety...

Lisa and Jennifer chatted about their most recent TV projects and, of course, their time filming the world-famous sitcom.

The women were laughing and reminiscing about their times on the set of Friends...

And they discussed how their time on the sitcom has given them underlying commitment issues. "Friends, it’s not like, 'Oh, it was such hard work for 10 years.' It’s not that. It was that I know that show worked because we all committed to each other too. It wasn’t just committing to a role, committing to a contract. We all still love each other. Our cast is like that, and that’s why that worked. I think part of me died. I can’t do that again," Lisa explained.

Lisa then asked Jen if she'd been watching Friends during the lockdown.

"I love it. I love stumbling on a Friends episode. This one time I was with Courteney, and we were trying to find something to reference, an old Friends thing. And then we stumbled on — there are bloopers online — and we sat there at the computer like two nerds watching these bloopers laughing at ourselves."

Jennifer began recalling some candid moments between the pair on set...

And she remembers some cute things that Lisa would do... which Lisa didn't seem to remember at all.

But the main thing that fans noticed was when Lisa seemed to get her episodes mixed up.

via: Variety

Lisa asked Jen if she remembers if there were any episodes where the two of them filmed together and Jen didn't seem to remember any, at all.

"I was thinking about the episode with the fire alarm, but I don't even think I was in that one!" Jen said.

via: Variety

"I don't even know what you're talking about," Lisa said - even though we all remember the scene with Phoebe and her persistent fire alarm!

Then Lisa confessed...

"I mean, if you said 'the one with anything after', I just go 'yeah yeah'!"

Of course, 2004 was a very long time ago...

So they're bound to get a little bit muddled up with their dates and episodes! Enjoy! Want to read more about Friends? Scroll on to check out the first-ever official Friends cookbook...
