Jennifer Aniston Drops Bombshell About ‘New Baby’ on ‘Friends’ Reunion Show

Just days after we received a sneak peek into the upcoming Friends reunion, Jennifer Aniston has let slip a huge baby bombshell…

Jennifer Aniston reportedly dropped the exciting news during the Friends reunion special that was filmed last week.

And we can’t believe what she let slip!

Now, Friends is arguably one of the most successful sitcoms of all time.

We were introduced to the Friends gang back in 1994, when Ross (David Schwimmer), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Monica, (Courteney Cox), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) first burst onto our screens.

It was an instant hit…

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, the comedy follows the friends, who live in the same New York apartment block, as they together navigate through the turbulent years of their late twenties.

And we grew to become incredibly attached to these characters…

The show truly made us feel like a member of the Friends gang, even when we were conflicted over whether Ross and Rachel really were on a break or not… FYI they totally were on a break.

And we watched through our tears as the gang said their final goodbyes to the apartment we had all grown to know and love for the past decade.

Monica and Chandler were starting a family, Phoebe was newly married, Rachel had a new job in Paris… As with a lot of friendships, the gang had grown apart and were embarking upon their separate journeys.

Oh, and Rachel got off the plane…

Fans rejoiced as Ross and Rachel finally put their differences aside and got back together.

We have never found out what happened to the gang. Did Rachel and Ross stay together? Would Monica and Chandler ever get divorced? Did Joey ever make it as a big actor?

Apart from the occasional reunion on talk shows, fans have had their fair share of disappointments when it comes to waiting for a Friends reunion.

A trailer for a Friends movie went viral a couple of years ago, giving superfans false hope that the sitcom was hitting the box office…

But it wasn’t to be.
The trailer was quickly confirmed to be fake and, again, our dreams were shattered.

Matt Le Blanc previously left fans heartbroken as he rejected calls for the show to return, saying the sitcom simply “wouldn’t be the same” in an interview with the Mail Online.
He added, “People want to know what happened to them. But it was about a finite period in a person’s life after college, before you settle down and start a family.”

And it wasn’t just the cast who had their doubts…

The show’s co-creator Marta Kauffman, said she constantly got “nagged” by fans to bring the sitcom back.
“Watch the old ones – there is no way we could win that. And there’s no way it would be satisfying and it’ll never happen. We’ll never do it,” she said in an interview with Deadline.

So, yeah… things haven’t been looking too great on the reunion front.

Many worry that, because Friends was about a group of people in their twenties and thirties, it just wouldn’t work following the gang through their forties and fifties.

Well, the news we were all waiting for arrived last year…

When all of the cast posted the same throwback picture on Instagram confirming the news of an official reunion.

But sadly, the reunion will simply be a sit-down with the entire cast and crew to just catch up and reminisce on the good times. It still sounds brilliant, though!

Fans were asking a lot of questions…

And thankfully for them (and us), Courteney Cox revealed exactly what to expect.

Speaking with Kevin Nealon on Hiking with Kevin, Courteney explained what the show would involve…

She said, “So the exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it’s going to be on HBO Max, and I’m so excited.”

“We’re going to have the best time. It’s going to be great. We really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had. It’s gonna be fantastic,” she went on to explain.

The reunion was originally scheduled to air in May 2020 on HBO Max…

Along with the channel releasing all 10 seasons of the sitcom for viewers to watch on-demand.

Due to the global pandemic, the Friends reunion was called off “indefinitely,” just a week before filming was set to take place.

As if this pandemic couldn’t get any worse?!

Because we’ve just been given a very special treat.

A first look behind the scenes!

With some photos that have the internet feeling thrilled.

We can’t wait!

And now, Jennifer Aniston has dropped some major baby news…

Sources revealed it was the emotional reunion that prompted Jen to tell her co-stars about her new baby arrival.

It’s reported that she decided to adopt a baby girl from a Mexican orphanage, Casa Hogar Sion…

She has supported the orphanage for years, and it looks like the adoption process is set to be finalized by June.

An insider told the publication…

“Jen felt the reunion was the perfect time to make her baby announcement to the whole gang. While the girls already knew – as they see each other regularly – she thought it would be special to tell the boys when they were all together, as she rarely sees them these days due to their busy lives and work commitments.”

“Spending almost every waking hour together for a decade, they lived through every detail of each other’s lives…

“And supported each other through all their hard times including Courteney’s fertility struggles and Jen’s painful divorce from Brad Pitt. Knowing how much they’ve always wanted this for Jen knowing her history, made it even more poignant for her to tell them her news so they could share and celebrate the milestone chapter in her life.”

“They were all overjoyed when she told them – giving her parenting advice, which she said she’d happily take on once she was settled in,” the source added.

Rumors started back in 2011 when she was with second husband Justin Theroux, that they would be adopting a child from Casa Hogar Sion.

However, Jen has always remained tight-lipped on her baby plans.

It’s now alleged that she will take her baby girl home in June.

Since apparently starting the adoption process last year, best friend and Friends co-star Courteney Cox has been by her side through it all.

Jen sparked baby rumors last year when she said: “I hear laughter, I see kids running” in her future.

It’s reported that the baby news has got Courteney so excited that she has decided to plan Jen’s baby shower.

“Court knows Jen doesn’t want a big fuss made, but she wants to celebrate this huge milestone in her life so she’s planning an intimate dinner party for all her closest loved ones,” the source adds.
What amazing news!
