'Tis the time for Ellen Degeneres' Greatest Night of Giveaways.

Over the course of 3 nights this week, Ellen and her celebrity friends have been delivering a range of gifts and treats to unsuspecting people who have made it onto her nice list.

And the unsuspecting winner is usually an in-audience member, merely thinking they have been given the opportunity to watch The Ellen show live.

Ellen has a lot of famous friends.

So she is usually spoilt for choice with who to bring along to the festivities...

Who to choose? Brad Pitt? Kim Kardashian? The President of the United States? Her list is endless.

Well, her latest choice was none other than Friends star, Jennifer Aniston.

Now, Jen is no stranger on The Ellen Show, so it comes as no real surprise that she was keen to join in with the festivities.

Jennifer appeared on the latest Greatest Night of Giveaways episode...

And she joined Ellen in giving out luxurious gifts to excitable audience members.

It was one hell of a haul...

And audience members were each gifted with tickets to the United Arab Emirates. Not too shabby!

But, on top of flogging expensive gifts...

There was a more important reason behind the episode.

One family, in particular, was in need...

Elyse Kimball sent in an emotional video in which she pleaded with Ellen to help her unemployed father.

Elyse lost her mom to cancer when she was 3-years-old...

And her dad, Jeff, was left to raise Elyse and her older sister, Lexi, singlehandedly.

Life hasn't been easy on the Kimballs...

Jeff recently lost his job, meaning he had to support his two daughters with next to no disposable income.

So, out of desperation, Elyse turned to Ellen...

And, in her video message, explained tearfully how she wanted to give a little back to her dad: "He's all I got. He is my life. He is what gets me through the good and the bad. For once, I want to give something to him. I want him to get something he deserves, and I can't do this without help."

The video was incredibly emotional...

And Jennifer could be seen tearing up as Jeff Kimball spoke about the experience of losing his wife. The full family were then invited up onto the stage, where they sat on the iconic couches and told their full story.

He revealed to the host that his wife was a huge fan of the show...

And that her character in the cartoon, Finding Nemo, Dory, inspired her battle with the illness. "She was going in for a thirteen-hour surgery. The last thing I did was blow her a kiss and say, 'Just keep swimming'," Jeff said, causing Jen to lean in and wipe away Elyse's tears.

But the team behind The Ellen Show had a huge treat in store for the family...

Ellen revealed to the Kimballs that, while they were away for the filming, their house had been fully decorated with Christmas lights, a Christmas tree, brand new furniture, and multiple presents ready to be opened.

And that wasn't all...

Jennifer gifted the family a bauble of the Eiffel Tower, in which she then revealed they were going on vacation to Paris. The actress then pointed out that she was in Italy recently, so then added the destination to their itinerary.

And Ellen suddenly said they should also go to London and Jennifer said they "might as well go to Greece."

"You're going to Europe for a month," Ellen then told the excited family.

They also won $150,000 after a speedy game of "Say Whaaat?". What a haul!

Christmas 2019 will be one to remember for the Kimballs.

When Jennifer asked what their mom would have said about them being on the show, Jeff replied: "She would be so happy. Ellen, she was your biggest fan. So, she would be like, 'Move over, ’cause I am getting closer.'" Let's hope that this wonderful act of kindness and generosity can bring the family the happiness and joy they truly deserve.
